Beni’s enjoying an evening of stargazing when Tenchi decides to join her on the roof. When Tenchi mentions his concern about Beni and the treasure she seeks, her anger gets the better of her. When she lashes out, she almost manages to take out both Tenchi and Momo, who had climbed up onto the roof to investigate. A bright light sears through the blue hour of night, and an explosion rumbles across the surrounding hills. Miss Ukan drags Tenchi away for disciplinary measures while Beni storms away.
