    Critique:

This is not quite your ordinary school drama show.

Nishikido Ryo (Hara Heisuke) skillfully plays the pained and secretive yet kind nature of Heisuke. Sometimes he shows a split second emotional revelation of the protagonist’s true feeling which he hides quickly.

Mitsushima Hikari (Hachiya Risa) plays on one hand the tough guidance counselor yet has a soft side. Due to some circumstances it was difficult and confusing to figure her story out. She and her sister are at the heart of the secrets in this show.

The rest of the cast’s performance is good, too, giving rise to many good and funny scenes. The show also has a healthy rivalry between Buddhism & Christianity with Buddhism prevailing in the end. There are some surprises and twists.

    Verdict: 8.3

    Cast 8

    Cast performance 9

    Script/Directing: 8
