    Type: movie

    Genre: life troubles

    Year: 2015

    Summary:

Yuri Kashiwaga, broken and scared, returns to her hometown to stand-in for her pregnant friend as a music teacher. The choir club is about to take part at a competition and aims for national level. Reluctantly she helps the students. While struggling with her own problems she discovers her student’s problems being far more grave…

    Critique:

At a glance it seems to be another Tegami (letter) story but it’s not quite. The movie focuses on the meaning of life depicted by Yuri, Nazuna, the choir captain, and Satoru. Overall it’s a nice movie but not outstanding. To be honest I watched it because of the title song and Yui Aragaki.

    Verdict: 7.7

    Cast 8

    Cast performance 8

    Script/Directing: 7

Tegami (Have a Song on Your Lips OST) by Aki Angela

    excerpt, perfect version

One of the most beautiful japanese songs there is. The rhyme is great (if sung correctly).

It kind of reminds of another similar one….
