Using the loss estimation formula, (TWG / 2) – PB, you get 725,000,000 JPY, almost as much as it originally grossed! We’re talking about 1988 levels, too.
The 49 billion JPY number tossed around the internet is likely from post-theatrical earnings, and recently inflation-adjusted.
