So a guy that recently joined my anime club just dumped his collection of vhs and posters and magazines from the 80’s and 90’s.
I didn’t get all of it sadly, but one of the gems is copies of the Pioneer Anime Club sampler tapes. Its got the first 6 eps of Tenchi Universe with the really original subs, and Gunsmith Cats. Looks and plays well for its age.
Oh and Chuck, I know I’ve got at least one Giant Robo poster in here.
I got a fair collection of all things Miyazaki too.
I also got a bunch of early 90s fanzine newsletters, but a real golden nugget has to be the pac newsletters… 4 of them and there’s a ton of vintage tenchi stuff in them, even interview with petrea, info from the cons that pioneer had them go to.
