What I had in mind as regards to Utena and her aunt was the way in the manga that guy in the prelude chapter pretended to like Utena and then was also pretending to be her aunt’s boyfriend as well.And then
to be her ‘Prince’ to use her to get to her aunt.
On the other hand it’s too bad that Utena’s friend Kaido wasn’t a regular character or in the anime since
he seems like such a nice guy in the one chapter of the manga we see him in and makes a good foil for
Utena.
