hey guys, here is my first Tenchi amv. after a three day battle with itunes i managed to get everything working so feel free to let me know what u guys think. :Tenchismile:

  Dude, awesome AMV. I really need to finish watching G Gundam, it looks like it gets really badass at the end. I think I stopped watching when I saw the French gundam was a giant clown. I said “Ohhhhkay… that’s enough for me….” Of course I watched Wing before G, and Mobile Suit Gundam before it as well, so my tastes were a little skewed on the whole thing. Amazing job on the video though, well cut, good music choice and great timing!

  I agree, nicely done! The song fits well, and the editing is very good. Maybe just a bit too long during the part where the main character (yeah I’m a noob, so what? :Cheeks: ) is powering up somewhere in the middle, but otherwise the pacing was great!

  Thanks guys I realy appreciate it and darkpatu do Finnish the show because it dose get realy epic at the end of the show and I loved it so much. Truly has one of the best endings in gundam and in anime in gereral.

  Hey you’ve really got something there balls! Excellent song choice for sure! It fits Ryoko well, and is one of my favorites. The first half of the AMV was fantastic, it really flowed and and the “story” of Ryoko remembering everything she’s done for Tenchi as she deals with the aftermath of the infamous roof scene is very well executed. About half way in, however, it seems the story was lost as you switched to one long cut of the ending scene of universe (which also fits well to the music, but I would have liked to see more of the cool “story”!), and likewise the last segment seems to just be a collection of random Ryoko moments. I understand that there might not have been enough clips from Tokyo to keep the “story” going, but for me it was the “story” part of the AMV that really rocked!

  Thanks chuck. And u we’re right I couldn’t find enough clips that could have kept up the sad story so I tried to switch to make it seem as though they got back together anyway I just need to figure out how to get this video to play on my iPhone.

  MUCH improved Balls! I really love the motif of Tenchi and Ryoko fading out/disappearing in front of each other! The “story” flowed greatly throughout the whole video this time and it really felt like a narrative with a beginning, middle, and end. If anything, I think the song fits the video even better now, and while the ending is still technically clips of famous Ryoko moments throughout the shows they are much more topical and give the impression that Ryoko (who was last seen lying in bed) is dreaming about getting back together with Tenchi! All in all your effort and editing really payed off! In my opinion this is a first rate AMV! I look forward to your next one, and am proud to have helped you out in this one.

  Stellar amv Balls! I’m genuinely surprised at how quickly you’ve improved. You’re on a whole ‘nother level. The song choice was excellent, and it really told a story–a story we’re all familiar with, contextualized within the narrative of T.I.T. Also good use of flashbacks. Great job!
  
  p.s. if you ever want advice for future, let me (or whomever you want advice from) know! I’m happy to give it out, but I never want to be too critical or throw out a bunch of suggestions if they’re unwanted.

  Couple minor quibbles….
  
  The timing on the scene where Ryoko static zaps the bridge or whatever she’s sitting on early on (angry) is a second or two off from sync with the music but it’s close.
  
  I sort of expected the “you know Tenchi, we’re having fun aren’t we… the carnival… if you wait it’ll always come back to you” bit added to the end…
  
  Really ought to think about if you want to enter this for Ohayocon, maybe by proxy, one of us could get your award and ship it too you if need be, sometimes they allow that. The AMV stuff won’t be open for much longer.

  Well done, yes indeedy, well done all around, I enjoyed it. It was pretty intense, and I feel for the movie you chose and the moments you selected, it matched–almost surpassed, even–the emotional intensity of the corresponding segments from the film. Made me remember what a dramatic movie D.O.D. truly is.

  There are many different programs that you can use. IMovie on the Mac computer is the easiest tht I found to be useful. I’d ask around but I do know that adobe has some programs that help.

  I think I get where you were going with it… but being a family friendly con (or supposed to be)
  
  I don’t think they’re going to go along with the parts about lust being in there so much, so it might
  
  be kept out of the running on that.
  
  Course the con’s going to have undead everywhere too… (friggen zombies) so not sure how that equates
  
  to family friendly either.
  
  Ultimately if you are happy with it, you can submit two AMVs. I’d still go with the Police one, and whichever other one you are the most pleased with.

  Sorry I didn’t notice this sooner, dude! Nicely done! I like the whole “accidentally in love” angle, because Tenchi accidentally resurrected Ryoko, and now…well, he can’t get away from her! (just like you can’t get someone outta’ your head if you’re in love)* 😆
