    It seems with all the time I’ve spent on here, I’ve never properly introduced myself. The name’s Daniel aka Makoto Mizuhara. I’m an avid anime fan that got started with the Toonami versions of Tenchi Muyo, an ex US Navy avionics specialist, and a generally lovable butt cookie.

      (It’s intriguing how many times I’ve heard of Tenchi–particularly on Toonami–being a “gateway drug” so to speak, of anime for people, including myself).

      Well, to be fair and honest, my first “real” anime experience was with what my mom grew up with- “Speed Racer” aka “Mach Go Go Go!”. But that was before I knew what anime fandom meant.
