Leonard Nimoy passed away today at the age of 83. He was an inspiration to me and to generations of sci-fi and space enthusiasts. I will miss him dearly.

Kirk’s eulogy at Spock’s funeral at the end of The Wrath of Khanis probably the best way of remembering Leonard Nimoy.
Another great passage from the same movie spoken by Spock himself just before he dies:
“I have been…and always shall be….your…friend.”

I got an e-mail from my friend down in Georgia, she said she was said when she heard he died but was glad that she got the chance to meet him at a con a couple years back.Should have asked her what he was like in person.
