I doubt most of these work right off the bat so you’ll have to use archive.org… but might find some jems from the ancient fans… http://members.efn.org/~lyon_m/achika/links.html http://web.archive.org/web/19980428085907/http://www.anime.net/~sasami/index.html

Related: With the archive, can visit http://geocities.com/punistation/ . ): Whatever happened to Jen? She had a fabulous website with amazing screenshots from the Tenchi games and others… and that somehow brought me to old old old 2004-2005ish forum with some of you on it. Think at that point I was either just a lurker or on another forum.
Unrelated but… Lol I found an old website I made (not Tenchi-related but relating to my name on this site)… January 1997 but I must have updated and made it really lame in 2002…. and some Titanic-related websites because I was really into that back then xD.

There’s a mirror for punistation out there on the web… I’ll have to find it on my laptop tomorrow. I’m not sure anyone really knows what happened to Jen. She was sort of “out there” personality wise but she dropped
off the face of the earth pretty much. If you notice, the original site was a geocities… which all those got wiped out
when they closed. The Japanese geocities I think is still up.
…and AFC was the main Tenchi forum for the most part after AIC closed down. Tenchiboard was different then, Bob’s Sanctuary
was the only other one. It goes back as far as 2003. I was one of the last 3 admins over AFC, Seto’s Fan, and DualFans, among other
boards from back then.

Over the years we’ve no doubt seen old Tenchi sites cease working, some thanks to Geocities. Others the owners are shut down the websites voluteerly. Basically, here’s a thread to be all nostalgic. Whilst we may use the wonders of Web archive, it is not perfect. Scores of images have gone, some still linger, whilst a few lucky images are archived.
http://web.archive.org/web/20080204105252/http://www.tenchizone.com/ ^ A site I frequently visited, and met two of the members irl! I’m unsure when it became inactive but it seems to be 2005. It had screenshots for every episode, and a nifty selection of info. Even having episodes to download! I also don’t know why it shut down, likely the owner didn’t see a pint anymore in paying for it.

That seems to be the case of a lot of anime websites.Either the owner gets tired of anime or moves on to other types of anime or simply quits for no given reason.Though I’m personally glad that there are still
some good ones out there.

Tmia.net back in the day had so many screenshots it was unbelivable. It also had a good collection of artwork. The site has been gone since 2008, but here some pictures are still archived. *http://wayback.archive.org/web/*/http://www.tmia.net:5050/tenchipictures/groups%202%20or%20more/ Here’s the main site. Grab what you can…

Hum…I think the second pic from the top was the cover to Tenchi Forever if I’m not wrong.

I’m now confused. So which Kiyone dies in OVA 3 anyway? -

In the OVA continuity Tenchi’s mother is named Kiyone Masaki. The last episode deals with the details of her death. -

Here’s a nice old fan page with some stuff and scans. http://www.maison-otaku.net/~nuriko/tenchi/ Kiyoka ought to like that one.
And here’s a look at one of the really old Animerica issues on Tenchi (1994!)
