Well after 108 years of futility the Curse has finally been lifted and the Cubbies are World Champions againat long last! It was a really epic World Series and even Cleveland Indians fans have something to be proud of despite loosing.
I mean after all the Indians took the Cubs to the limit before the last out made it official.
Good job to both teams.
soawesome1 See ya all next Spring Training!

So besides the Mariners what other teams haven’t made it to the World Series yet? -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_World_Series_champions ” class=”bbcode_url”> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_World_Series_champions Quote:The Seattle Mariners and the Washington Nationals (formerly Montreal Expos) are the only current Major League franchises to have never appeared in the World Series; the Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, Colorado Rockies, Texas Rangers (formerly the 1961–1971 version of the Washington Senators), Tampa Bay Rays, and Milwaukee Brewers (formerly Seattle Pilots) have played in the Series but have never won it. The Toronto Blue Jays are the only franchise from outside the United States to appear in a World Series, winning in 1992 and 1993.
That’s what happens if enough time (113 years) passes; everyone gets a chance.
And before you ask:

So it’s only Seattle and Washington that haven’t made it to the big show then. Maybe one day it’ll be the Mariners vs. the Nationals!
