      Odd having to vote on the men’s half of the survey, but hey… Koyomi Araragi and Seto Kaiba. At least I can support two characters I appreciate, right?

      Just like in Chicago elections, the secret to winning here is to vote early and vote often! 😆

      I’m glad to see they used Ryoko’s very best picture for her profile in that vid! Also, I do hope she makes it at least to the semi-finals, but the fact that she’s in the same section as Yoko Litner….

      Also I’m almost all but certain Ryoko and Yoko are going to go head to head at some point, so thats when we are REALLY going to need to vote Ryoko, lol.

      It’s a shame that a good amount of people voting have probably never heard of Ryoko. We all know she’s the real winner.

      Ah!Too bad I didn’t see this until now. 😡

      If I had seen it sooner not only would I have voted for Ryoko but also for:Saya,Chii,Moka(does that count as a

      double vote by itself I wonder since there are two of her)and flip a coin between Utena and R.Dorothy,not to mention of course Usagi.Just saying what my choices would’ve been if I had voted.

      On the men’s side there weren’t too many I recognized other than Kiba,Armstrong,Trunks and Kaiba.

      And why does the dude from Hetalia Axis Powers have a chicken on his head?I think he’s from Hetalia

      Axis Powers.

      It’s too bad that they didn’t have Kenshin or Nakago though.

      I find it amusing in their “rant” videos after a previous round was decided, both times (Round 1 and 2 (I just skip to the Ryoko part)) their response is just that they’re surprised and talk for about a minute or two about the other anime character but say virtually nothing about Tenchi Muyo or Ryoko, and even said they thought Ryoko would lose Round 2.

      No doubt she’s probably going to go up against Kill la Kill’s Ryuko, now THAT is going to be where we want everyone to vote a million times, because Kill la Kill is hot right now.

      I think that’s how it’s going to be too, but we can’t afford to take it for granted. Below are the actual results for the last round:

      As you can see, even though Ryoko won by over 90%, she actually got the least number of votes out of all the other winners. We need to step up the effort bigtime right NOW, and hope for a decent amount of crossover votes from the fans of previously defeated candidates. We have the benefit of both the perceived status of underdog and the novelty of being the only classic candidate in the race, but those are only small advantages. Tl;dr we need to vote more than we ever have right now if we want to make it to the final round.

      Wow, those vote numbers are in the 70,000 range. Had no idea there were that many considering the views of the videos themselves garner less than 10,000 (but of course there aren’t 70,000 voters, hundreds or thousands of people vote multiple times)

      I agree we have a lot of work to do!

      Well damn, it looks like Ryoko got eliminated last round (and so did Ryuko, which for a number of reason’s looking at who’s in the final also doesn’t surprise me) it was a good run.

      Indeed. For ANY classic anime character to make it this far in such a young voting group is astounding, and really speaks volumes about how incredibly popular and influential Ryoko (and all of Tenchi Muyo! for that matter) still is today. While she may have lost today, she’s proven that even twenty years later people remember her. I doubt a single one of these finalists will EVER be able to say that. Cheers to you Ryoko, and may your popularity last another twenty years!

      Also, apparently since she made it into the semi-finals she will automatically be entered in next year’s tournament, so this is not the end!

      The results don’t surprise me. Tenchi Muyo was first released over 20 years ago, it’s a classic. I’d wager most of the people who voted had no idea who Ryoko was.

      I also don’t see how that Miho character was sexier than Ryoko, even by looks (since we all know Ryoko has a much sexier personality)

      She made it REALLY far last year, and against some really tough opponents too! Here’s hoping the Ai Tenchi Muyo! hype comes in handy this time around! Also, there’s quite a few classic series ladies this year. I can see some particularly painful matchups coming in that category!

      Haruhi looks pissed.Maybe she found out she didn’t make the cut this year or that they stupidly excluded Kei

      from The Dirty Pair and only had Yuri.ASAIG:Never piss off Haruhi since she is a Goddess! 😆

      Now as soon as someone tells us that voting is up and where to vote(hint!hint!)I will do my duty and vote

      for Ryoko except if the following conditions apply:

      1.She’s up against Sailor Jupiter

      2.She’s up against Lina

      3.She’s up against Fujiko

      4.She’s up against Yuri

      btw:where the heck is Sailor Mars as well? and why do we only have Jupiter representing the Sailor Scouts?

      (Come to think of it where’s Kagome?)
