What is the date of the event in Ikebukuro? I’m in Japan from the 28/10 to 17/11 (10/28 – 11/17 For you guys in the states), An I really wanna head to it. Though someone said it was on the 4th an I’ll be in Osaka that day. So if I have to I will consider making a day trip back to Tokyo for it unless, they are having multiple events.

Best I can suss, there’ll be a “25th Anniversary” late-night screening of OVA 1 and two panels, one with Ai Orikasa (Ryoko) and Masami Kikuchi (Tenchi), the other with OVA 4 producer Hiroaki Inoue and director Hidetoshi Takahashi on November 5th.

Naturally it’s in Ikebukuro.

Was thinking the obvious tourist spots of course but will to make segway for a decent convention. I don’t particularly like anything about cons, I love panels, stalls and the cosplay. Lots of people don’t mind me. An I’m not sure when I’ll be coming over maybe 2018…

Was in Takahashi City last year and I can account for seeing one shrine that looked similar to the Masaki one though I didn’t get any photos. Besides Ai Tenchi Muyo portrayed Takahashi City very well. Every location I visited was pretty much identical to real life locations. For instance –

Ah sorry it took so long to reply. Back in Tokyo and spent the past few days going to Ikebokuro, Shibuya and Akihabara. Thoigh as Ukinjo said it’s to limit the number of cards given out so more people who come can grab some tenchiahhhhhh

The cards were free. Infortchanetly my camera went dead after I took these. Though I did go see the sight. Was awesome.
