Masaki Kajishima at Comiket

    So for the longest time, Kajishima Masaki has been elusive, in fact their are more pictures of bigfoot then their are of this man. Well currently at the latest comiket (to which he usually sells through a proxy IE someone else) he had 2 booths, and was signing autographs for folks, and people have been posting them online (here is one such example and said twitter)

    Now, as you may or may not know, streaming video of comiket is illegal (for a number of reasons) however that didn’t stop some from taking video in, and this shot was taken at and around the Kajishima booth, do we finally have a picture of Kajishima Masaki?

    I personally find it strange but also exciting that he’s out in the open like this which means something might be right on the horizon, and of course thanks go to Tearatone who asked the person streaming to head over there and check around and get this.

      You know the other day I was thinking about how there were really no pictures of the guy other then one shot of the back of his head, and now we have this.

      Funny how things turn out time-wise.

      Contrary to his series, I can’t say he’s aged too well for somebody just over fifty. I can sort of see why he may have wanted to lay low for so long. Also, animanga artists tend not to be charismatic demigods who divide seas when they come to a convention.

      I’d almost be more inclined to believe a photograph of bigfoot were posted here when I first heard lol 😆 but from what we know with regards to the context of the photo, I’d say there’s a good chance it could be him. Whether we’ll ever know officially or not doesn’t make it less intriguing to me, the mystery is appealing.

      If this is him, and he’s extremely reclusive, knowing his picture got onto the internet might not encourage him to go back to any cons.

      Well he does seem to share the wide shoulder stance Kajishima appears to have, while being ‘husky’ and not morbidly obese. But his melon appears misshapen and about 15 years too young.

      I took the liberty to match the Autograph up to the original picture of his name here, and I’d say that, we may not know if that screen cap is a picture of him, but that the back of that mans head very much belongs to Masaki Kajishima.

      I’d be willing to bet that the highlighted person is Kajishima-sensei.

      BTW, any word on the doujinshi from this Comiket? My anonymous contact hasn’t pinged me yet.

      Heh! I’m just amazed I had time to pop in here at all. I hadn’t made it down that far yet. :P
