Since there are quite a few of us on PC and on Steam, I’ve decided to make a steam group for us!

(Or just search on Steam for Tenchiforum)

I’ve invited the people I have added on steam already, and then those can add whoever else isn’t already there from the forum

We’ll have to setup a Civ V day or something sometime

  It’s a lot of fun, though I feel the difficulty scaling gets to be a little too much once you’re at the point where only Overkill/PROverkill missions net you worthwhile EXP and cash. If you haven’t gotten it already I imagine it will again very soon, they’ve got a winter event (which appears to be a crossover with Counter Strike: Global Offensive, exciting!) coming up to coincide with the Steam Winter sale.

  I got it and the truck heist dlc for about $12 so don’t think I did too badly.
  
  Now I just need the time to play it lol.

  Another game that is really fun that goes for extremely cheap during sales is Killing Floor. (I prefer it greatly to L4d).

  BUT Killing Floor is really good times and requires actual cooperation lest your crew get wiped over and over. Even better? It’s currently a dollar in the Humble Weekly Bundle. If anyone’s unable to spare that with the holiday squeeze and is interested, I’ll be more than happy to drop for a few $1 tier gift codes.
  
  EDIT: In fact, first person to quote me gets a KF steam code off the bat.

  While the Brigade keys are gone at this point, we did get more so into Killing Floor.
  
  I’ll be hosting a private server, Masaki Shrine, for Killing Floor, with custom maps and
  
  settings for the members here. Not sure if I’ll be able to have it up 100% of the time
  
  or just on request yet. I’ll have more info on it once I’ve got the mods setup properly.

  Since we’re all always up for some kinda co-op deal, a mixture of getting excited about SOMA with Dagon and seeing a friend launch Alien Swarm out of the blue made me remember how somewhat enjoyable if short of an experience Alien Swarm was. I’m lookin to try and get a few runs of it going sometime. It is free and runs on the L4D2/Portal 2 version of Source Engine so if you can run either of those you’ll run it just fine.
  
  You’ll have to bring your A-games though as dying in a level means being dead.

  For the next 30 hours, the Tower Defense FPS game sanctum 2 is 90% off, I loved the original and it’s a cheap fun 4 player multiplayer experience.

  Do you want a hardcore World War 2 shooter that throws you into the thick of Russian vs German battles, in all of their glory? And by glory I mean watching the guy next to you get hit by shrapnel from a mortar round, drop his weapon and hold the wound screaming and squirming in pain as he slowly bleeds out because no medic is alive to save him (or you) ? Excellent! For the rest of today, you can install Red Orchestra 2 for free, and as long as you’ve clicked install the game will be tied to your account forever! Of course, you don’t get the pacific theater expansion but that is apparently going on sale tomorrow.
  
  If you didn’t get this when the Tripwire Humble Bundle was a thing, you should certainly grab it now. Cause I mean hey, free game.

  For the next 2 days, Payday 2 and almost all of its DLC is 80% off. Get loaded up with a great co-op experience for $5.99 and pick up all of the DLCs for around a buck each. If we get enough folks interested, I’d consider picking up the Big Bank DLC – only the person who hosts the lobby needs to own the map for everyone to play.

  Space Engineers is sandbox, creating, space game that has multiplayer and allows to build, blow up and shoot stuff.
  
  The Room: puzzle game, kind of fast to get through but reasonably challenging
