    This thread could also be titled the “MIND=BLOWN” thread. ^^; This thread aims to share where voice actors from Tenchi have appeared in other roles. While the idea of this thread was for the English cast, examples for the Japanese cast are welcome as well. ^^v

    However, to add to the “MIND=BLOWN” effect, I would advocate clips that depict memorable lines or events for these other roles. After all, some of these actors have had some very varied roles than those to which we are accustomed. o.o

    For example, many of us know Jennifer Darling as “Ayeka, crown princess of Jurai’s royal family”, but did you know she appeared in the G.I. Joe franchise, as a major villainess? Behold, a voice that haunts my childhood! o.o

    Also, Ms. Darling had a regular live-action role on The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman as “Peggy Callahan”. ^^v

    On the other hand, Julia Fletcher played “Nagi, the bounty hunter”, but did you know she was the ghostly vampire Carmilla in Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust? o.o

      Now, she did not play Aki in the original Tekkaman Blade TV series. That was Barbara Goodson. ^^v

      I can start off with Ryoko’s voice actor. Petrea Burchard. Tenchi was her anime. She only did one other and that was a very small role in the show Serial Experiments Lain. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a clip of her work in the video since it’s very minuscule.

      Since then, Petrea has a book out(that I own) named Camelot and Vine. She does minor roles such as the independent film Callback.

      She’s also made smaller appearances in TV shows.

      The one that comes to my mind is Yokoyama Chisa who also played the title role of Shinguji Sakura in

      Sakura Wars.

      Not really anime related but I just thought i should share this. I was watching Dexter (awesome show btw) on netflix the other day and as i was eating my sandwich in front of my tv, i heard a very familiar voice. I looked up and there was Petrea. Although she only made a very small appearance, it blew my mind. My favorite voice actor from my favorite anime making an appearance on my favorite tv show! colors2

      & to do my part, I had a very similar experience and reaction as I was watching HIMYM one day. Season 3, Episode 19 “Everything Must Go.”

      I’m surprised no one here has yet brought up Matt K. Miller, the man behind Tenchi himself! Although known best for Tenchi Muyo and doing small roles on other series/games/etc, he did have a major story role in one of the arcs in Rurouni Kenshin: The Black Knights. He voiced a member of a group from Western Europe (The Black Knights, duh) that went by the name of Schneider. You can hear him here-

      And thinking on Final Fantasy, he was also in FFX/X2 as Clasko. He is a Chocobo breeder/knight in-game. He REALLY loves those Chocobos!
