    I found these pics of these booklets of Tenchi. They have ones with Achika, Sayaka, Kiyone (TU), and Ryo-Ohki in child form

    on the covers, which makes me wonder of legitimacy and continuity they are based on. I mean they look really well done which makes me think they are real. Does anyone really know what they are?

      I believe them to be real just don’t know what they are. Anyway I was looking through the Pac de America Newsletters and read that Tenchi Muyo Comic Books with original story were made. If anyone has found them please post them, the Tenchi Manga Thread seems like the best place to put them.

      There’s listings online as far as track lists go for most if not all of these, most of that I have as files.

      The 8 pack above is a 4 piece box set, done up kind of like a bento. There’s 2-3 multi disc sets out there.

      The stuff below are individual CDs yes. OST is kinda sorta not right in that you’ve got one offs, drama cds, BGM, OSTs, Lives, there’s really a wide variety of stuff.

      Most of these things that I find, are found on twitter from people posting on the tenchi 20th anniversary twitter, or google image search.

      Yeah the 2nd to the right is 101 Secrets which I actually have on my desk in front of me.

      The two on the right were comics or character guides…. arrgh I’ve seen in them but can’t quite remember.

      No idea whats in the far left one.

      Copy book could mean mass produced or duplicate

      Basically saying “Here’s a Tenchi Muyo doujinshi book, it was fun giving these out at each Comiket event.”

      These are pretty common to find loose, or as a set without the TV box. As you can kinda see there, the TV is just a paper case for the actual CD jewel case.

      The are legit. Been around a few places, but as has been said, outside of cons mostly at Sam Goody and Suncoast, both the same company. You can still find them for inflated prices at cons without a huge amount of trouble. Don’t remember who the manufacturer was. A lot of figure stuff was put out by McFarlane toys (spawn), there were a bunch of ones offs though too.

      The Kiyone is like a capsule toy more or less, came out as the secret character you could get if you bought all the other GXP/OVA3 figure versions and sent in for it. There was one on eBay for like $90 when I found one last time. She’s only like 2-3 inches tall.

      Poster sheet or perhaps a telephone card list I’m thinking. The images themselves were all promotion art used for various things, a lot of covers. Most all of them were hanken cels at one point or another.

      None of the above, it’s a unpainted model kit from one of the WonderFest model conventions.

      You see them once in a while for stupid prices, I actually had seen this before when I did auctions regularly, but I saw

      one in person at AX in 2006. They wanted like $170 for it which was nuts, even being an import.

      I have one for Mitsuki Sanada and Dee.

      It’s just 1/4th scale, Aeka Jurai (version 3), which could be the pose or third entirely different model.

      I think generally “at” wonderfest when the kits come out (keep in mind these are like doujinshi, limited runs from a certain mold, not reproduced) they tended to be around $40-60 equivalent. Nowadays its more, and worse for older rare kits. Being what it is, should it fetch that…. ehh maybe? Depending on the effort it took the seller to get it, unlikely. But the problem is no one but me probably knew what it even was they were looking at.

      Now painted kits, no matter what, are always much more expensive, generally starting at a factor of 3x. Seeing kits start in the painted range for $350 isn’t uncommon at all. Even commissioning someone, expect at least $175 and up.

      @ Ukinojo, that’s from one of the books I have, probably the Universe comic, it’s legit.

      Pretty sure it’s universe, the Muyo Rangers have at least a two part manga section in a pair of books, that’s a CD jewel case cover as it says from the TV box set. The Ryo-Ohki Zord is covered in the manga.

      Japanese paper sizes often down match with what we use in the US, I’ve not seen that before

      but I’d be comfortable saying it’s a newsletter. Would be interesting to see if we could get any info off it or if

      there have been other volumes.

      Does anyone remember/ know where I can find the japanese version of Sasami singing “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus”? (Mama Ga Santa Ni Kisu Wo Shita).

      Edit: It’s on the Techi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki Christmas Album… not finding it anywhere online though.

      The back side is Ryo-Ohki on all the coins.

      They were all 10th anniversary set coins, which I’m pretty sure came from that big old wood box collection that costs $800.

      But each box only came with one coin, and they are gold. There’s one Ryoko coin on eBay right now for cheap ($10).

      Yup, the first one is one of the Shin Tenchi Muyo! By Kajishima and Kuroda.

      The next 7 are from our dear Hasegawa.

      The others on the left are a part of Kuroda’s Pretty Sammy’s novels.

      We can read “sayounara” on one of them, hence it’s the last book of the series.
