Wings of Honneamise is finally getting it's sequel

Blue Uru (Aoki Uru) is actually becoming a reality after all these years. I have to say that I’m very surprised, not only that it’s now coming to life, but that Yamaga and Sadamoto are at the helm again for the so sought after expansion to the Honneamise universe.

If you haven’t seen Royal Space Force – Wings of Honneamise, I would suggest that you do

  That is good news.Will they be releasing an anniversary edition of Wings of Honneamise to go along with the new project as well?

  Anime studio Gainax officially announced on its Facebook page for its long-dormant Blue Uru (Aoki Uru) project that a pilot film will open in 2014. Gainax had announced on the first day of Tokyo International Anime Fair in March that it is still working towards an anime film of Blue Uru. Character designer Yoshiyuki Sadamoto told ANN in an interview last week that Gainax is still looking for sponsors for the project.

  Its means they’re currently working on a short pilot film in an effort to gain sponsors to fund a full-length feature.
