So I’ve just started watching a anime called Senki Zesshou Symphogear and just watching the first couple of episodes it really surprised me as it’s darker than I expected. I can’t really say I recommend it yet as I’ve only seen up to episode 3 but I’m really enjoying it so far. It’s a interesting twist and is debatable if it belongs in the magical girl genre but I think it does. I think it has something for everyone as it has Mecha like action fighting, plently of songs and music ( Nana Mizuki sings a lot 
) , and of course the magical transformations and interesting story. Also did I mention Nana Mizuki? lol Also Aoi Yuki who voice none other than the lovely goddess and hope itself Madoka Kaname voices the main character and she also sings a lot.
I’ll be posting about this again as it currently has 2 complete season and a 3rd ongoing one and of course I have to post some pictures!
