I can see why at least Emerald was there. She need to translate what Cinder was saying. I guess Mercury was there because those two are always a pair. Which btw I wonder why she can’t speak (barely speak that is)? I can understand her eye being gone from the Ruby’s “silver eyes blast” but why her voice? Guess we will found out.

I had this little inkling in Vol 3 that it could be possible that Cinder and Salem are related somehow? Or at least have history together in someway but I’m gonna go ahead and say that I think they are possibly related to each other. OH and also it seems like Cinder really hates being there doesn’t she? I mean its obvious she dislikes her team mates greatly. Maybe shes started to regret what shes doing especially after getting undo-able damage done to herself. Also I’m think at least Emerald is either going to join the forces of good soon or is going to kick the bucket since her and Mercury don’t have new outfits unlike everyone else. So the same could be said for him too but this is probably just Snowy thinking too much. So moving on….

I love seeing Jaune being more mature but still being his goofy-self (same can be said for everyone else) but seeing the new team work together was fun. Also I think Nora was trying to throw Jaune a bone making the name team JNRR so thay way he would be the leader. Also the nice touch of Jaune’s new and approved weapon being made of the metal that used to belong to Pyrrha….ugh my heartstrings. That was so bittersweet. Lastly….i want that hoodie. Roosterteeth please make it happen. (Also i wonder if Jaune wears it still because it also reminds him of her, i mean she was on that cereal box after all….but that could be Snowy thinking too much again lol)

So yeah thats my opinion/theories for episode one and I will get to my thoughts on episode two in a couple of days probably. blush1
