Well, it ain’t original. But I doubt that anyone’s bothered to cover this song before. Adam Again: Eyes Wide Open.

What can I say? I had fun learning how to record loops. ^_^

What is the media transfer law?

Basically it states that if you own something on one medium, you own the rights to it on all mediums.

e.g, I bought a tape, so I can legally torrent-download the album and burn a CD.

By the word of the law, this should give me legal rights to download a BluRay-resolution digital copy because I bought a VHS tape, but that’s where it gets disputable. (Especially since the new stuff is re-releases, versus the tapes being original.)

Never heard of that law before, but if that’s the case, I’m fairly certain United States doesn’t have one (i.e. in that scenario, just because you own it on dvd doesn’t give you any right to it in any other format at all).

    No, it’s a US thing.

Let me clarify: If I bought a vinyl LP of Stryper’s “To Hell with the Devil” (Which is an awsome album) I can legally rip it to cassette or CD or any format for my own usage.

IIRC, the same goes for video:

Buy a VHS+put it on youtube = no

    Buy a VHS+torrent download for in-home viewing = :D

Amazon has discounted the preorder price of the Tenchi Muyo! OVA Series DVD/BD Combo to $40.29 (as opposed to $41.99 at Rightstuf).

Thats a fantastic price, if anyone wants it but hasn’t ordered it yet now’s the time.

I ordered the OVAs from Amazon, one VHS tape at a time.

    For 1¢ each.

    Then Torrent.

Thank you, media transfer law.

When you cling on to your deep-rooted love of the series, even after you have long since grown weary of other fans’ quirks.
