If you don’t mind, throw in a vote for Michelle Ruff along with your Tenchi peoples. She was Mitsuki Sanada in Dual, along with 200 other things. Generally very nice to attendees,
and she didn’t start going to cons except in the last few years. Would like a chance to meet her.
There are about 3-4 non related votes for her already.
Yeah I can do whatever…. I think the basic *at shop cost* is $35 for a single full print, and a dual sided full print is $45.
http://www.jakprints.com/all-over-shirt-printing/ As you can see they have a Gundam shirt.
But I can make these or others fairly easily and clean the images up to look good. You can have the templates pre-made by me and order em yourself if you want. These are just examples. The template is like 12K pixels wide, at 300 dpi, which would be good printer quality, so it should be really good looking.
Another idea hit me in that we could put the forum logo on the sleeves, rather than taking up the middle.

If it’s that close, you’d be better off trying to register now, while it’s cheaper. Registration is $40 currently for the whole con. Goes up some Sept 1.

Points up. It’s TU, but that’s October…. I wouldn’t expect them to do Blu right off the bat. DVD is cheaper, more widely available still.
Besides this gives them more time to secure whatever they need to do a simul-release of both the blu and dvd for OVA, and tout it as their ultimate collection.
or… they do all DVDs, then come back around on Blu ray and try to put the screws to everyone for a second box of discs later.

Well washu was in the cameo role in GXP… There was that flashback in SKT… Tokimi could have done it too… she is supposed to cause chaos after all though Kenshi actually
stopped chaos rather than created by the end of things.
More Dual first pls… KM’s beaten around the bush long enough. 13 years… been a long time.
Or do the manga… it’s got a lot more fun elements to it than the OVA’s direction.

Quote:Will do! There’s another Tenchi cosplayer interested and a Mihoshi cosplayer, I don’t know if they can make it, but I’ve let them know. They’re coming from Hawaii so it might be a little difficult for them to make it, but they’re going to try.

Quote:Hi,
I’m the person that asked Kiyo to make the posts in the first place.
I’m admin of the DualFans forum (dualfans.com) and I help out Dagon who’s the admin at TenchiForum.com, who will be leading the panel.
Great to hear there are more looking at coming. Ideally we’d see a packed room of cosplayers and Tenchi fans. I’m trying to reach as many TM! cosplayers as I can in the Mideastern States and invite them.
We’re hoping to put together a panel that’s not the typical “folks sit and talk about things everyone already knows” type of thing. We’re looking into ways to get the audience involved, discuss things folks that may have only seen Toonami may not be aware of.
Such things might be as the Tenchi manga, which is it’s own continuity based off the OAV series. Tenchi music and AMVs. The extended universe, such as the spin off series Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure, Photon, and more recently Saint Knight’s Tale (Funimation just yesterday announced this will be dubbed TM! War on Geminar). Some other things like the Japanese novels, mangas, comics, doujinshi, and other materials that never made it to the States we can talk about too. There’s truly a whole other realm of info out there that can be tapped.
Some of us have over 12 years in the fandom, so we’ve got a lot we can cover and hope to make it a great time. So the more the merrier.
Keep spreading the word!
p.s. if you’d like to listen to sort of a “panel series” TenchiForum does a regular podcast on Tenchi topics, which is sort of like a panel already.

Here’s the lowdown on the set: Quote:Tenchi Muyo! Universe – Box Set (DVD)16th October 2012 | Hybrid Dub | $39.98 | 650 Minutes
In the beginning, there was Tenchi…..
Back when the only cure for an anime fix was a trip to the mall to load up on VHS tapes. Back when Toonami and Cartoon Network first introduced this amazing new genre to American fans. The times may have changed since those good old days, but we’re thrilled to be bringing Tenchi back! A true classic never goes out of style, and Tenchi is the original anime harem comedy the started it all.
Everyone’s favorite luckless hero is back for more intergalactic hijinks in Tenchi Universe, an alternate universe retelling of the original Tenchi canon. Seventeen-year-old Tenchi Masaki is a regular guy whose life takes a turn for the outrageous when Ryoko the stunning space pirate crashes at his grandfather’s shrine. In the bat of an eye, Tenchi finds himself surrounded by a bevy of bodacious intergalactic beauties who’ll do everything they can to make him late for class.
