TK’s place has quite a few cels from all around including game art but they’re annoyingly watermarked. I imagine the asking price for them is going to be astronomical due to their even more niche nature.

I enjoyed doing it live, and I think straight uploading in turn to youtube (/itunes, I assume) works fine, but since it was live there are little bits here and there that would otherwise have been trimmed, so I can’t help but wonder how that will work out with run-time in the future if we have more participants in on one cast. Also, in general our previous casts sound “tighter” all around, pauses unavoidable during initial recording trimmed, so I guess let’s wait for feedback from listeners to see if this new approach is “up to standards” (which I sure think this one was).

For the sake of shorter and more concentrated casts such as this one, I feel the new format of recording to a live stream and putting up on Youtube directly while the audio cast is cut and uploaded works just fine. If in the event that we end up with something simply massive or impossible to contain such as the clusterfuck that was the War on Geminar cast, cutting would probably be needed unless we really wanted to feed the Youtube subscribers the pure pulp of the cast and not a refined product.

There is something to be said about the lengths that Dagon has gone through to ensure that the casts are well trimmed and blocked properly but it all takes time. It may have to be decided on a case-by-case basis but so long as a cast remains as smooth as this one has (and the last few I’ve been in have been) it shouldn’t be a problem. Would love to see other opinions from those who weren’t in the cast, however!

Also big shoutout to Ninjaboy again for braving his first cast and doing it well, especially as we were seconds away from hitting the record button before he joined up.

Seems like as of 2012 the map whitelist has been eliminated so all maps can have perk use and leveling. Mutators are a different story, but since we won’t be running any of those (at least not at the moment), we should be perfectly fine.

EDIT: I’ve also set up an official Masaki Shrine Map Pack Page on the Steam Workshop. To simplify the process, all you have to do is click “subscribe to all” and it will automatically download each of the maps there at the time. I will be adding maps as they are added.
