    eh, they sound different enough.

Naw, the N64 intro is Pachelbel’s Canon, thus the joke. ;)

As for the 8-bit version, who doesn’t love some good ol’ 8-bit sounds (and A Cruel Angel’s Thesis at that)?

    No objections here.

Another interesting response from DeMarco. The wording is a bit vague, but it appears AS may have helped co-fund Kick-Heart much in the same way they did with Space Dandy and GITS. Whether this means they have perpetual broadcast rights to it and plan to continue showing it from time-to-time remains to be seen.

    Apparently not.

Now for the other Ghibli film: 😉

NTV’s morning television program every. aired a new three-minute trailer on Thursday for Kaguya-hime no Monogatari (The Tale of Princess Kaguya), the latest film from Studio Ghibli co-founder Isao Takahata.

The famous Japanese folktale Taketori Monogatari (The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter) centers on princess named Kaguya who was discovered as a baby inside the stalk of a glowing bamboo plant. Taketori Monogatari has inspired dozens of manga and anime stories, such as Reiko Shimizu’s Kaguya Hime and Arina Tanemura’s Sakura-Hime Kaden.

Joe Hisaishi is composing the film’s soundtrack. Takahata conceived the story and co-wrote the screenplay with Riko Sakaguchi. This will be Takahata’s first film since My Neighbors the Yamadas about 14 years ago.

The film will open in Japan on November 23.

Keep in mind “Tenchi Muyo” also translates to the equivalent of “This Side Up”, so you’re likely to see it on any random box. 😉
