  • That’s Kajishima’s latest title, Paradise War, which was released a couple weeks ago.
wow, if Photon got any younger, he’d be in pullups… And it’s like Keyne suddenly became Mutsumi Otohime. Not sure what to think about that last one, as I really liked Keyne space elf and enjoy properly thought out ‘big sister’ archetypes.

This edit combines 3 incomplete images together, making a complete piece with no missing details. [The missing details being large chunk of Reia/Naizai’s body or a missing piece of her hair, like previous scans & edits.] A large part of this edit uses the high resolution Japanese box set scan previously uploaded to minitokyo (thank you Ghandy) and the other two parts come from the US & Japanese release covers from Amazon’s website. [Thanks Amazon.] Lots of adjusting was needed for these to be pieced together, from resizing, perspective adjustments, color adjustments, artwork touch ups, line redraws, text removal, etc. And a lot trial & error. But the end results were well worth it. BTW this is scalable to 1920×1080 without additional edits.

Very Nice Wallpaper Shades, might have to take a crack at it.

Thank you. You know that saying ‘pissing in the wind’? Well that was very much like how it was procuring that beauty. All I had to work on was a Japanese blog with some issue details and no confirmation if the blog was even talking about if that poster came from the very issue mentioned. Not to mention the risk of acquiring a used monthly publication with it’s extras already ripped out. What a PITA.

Anyway, PMed you with a link to the untouched 1200dpi scans.

If anyone is interested, there are at least two more foldout posters made for the GXP novels. They should be found in the March 2011 and March 2012 issues of Dragon Magazine. I suspect there are even more, but have not found any details on which year/month have them. Nor any samples to back that.

Atleast no one has the 10th anniversary set so I still win. HUZZAH!

Yeah that one is too rich for my blood. There are a couple used copies on amazon marketplace for under $250, however none of them provide enough detail on if the two paperweights are accounted for. For a good laugh, some nut keeps relisting one on ebay for $1400. 😆

BTW have you ever compared video transfers on those anniversary R2J discs to the standard European and/or North American releases?

Taken from the September 2008 issue of Dragon Magazine.

I’ve got the originals scanned at 1200dpi, roughly 330MB a pop. So if any of you guys have some real photoshop skills & would like to clean them up, I’d be willing to upload them to depositfiles.

Updated shot of the goods, included some stuff I forgot last time and some new stuff too. All while still forgetting others. Go figure.

For whatever reason, it was intentional & the packaging reflects that. There’s a ‘bluray special features’ box with this written under it – Runtime: 8 minutes, Audio: Japanese 2.0, Subtitles: English.

I figured as much. Does this also mean the Jirai short is exclusive to the Blu-ray?

It’s on both. I checked. The packaging simply does not comment on what comes on any of the DVDs.

I just finished watching my Funimation OVA set and for some reason they only used the Japanese audio for the Here Comes Jurai 2 mini-episode which is weird cause Pioneer dubbed it.

Have you tried hitting the “audio” button to see if the Japanese audio was only made the default by mistake?

I can confirm that the bluray and dvd do not have English audio for Here Comes Jurai Part II.

Hmmm…this sounds like an interesting problem. Since I have a fansub of the first two ovas and not the official version this is the first I have heard of it.

The VHS fansubbed copy? If so, I’m feeling slightly jelly. As a questionably OCD collector, I’ve always wanted a copy of that. But I’ve never actually run into a copy of it. Funny thing is I don’t really need it, as I’ve got the Platinum & Bluray editions. Just one of those things I’d like added to my collection, for the sake of having.
