I actually liked that about Madoka Magica. Not because the main character is always crying in despair ect. but because in Madoka’s situation it seems more a lot more realistic for her to be that way than happy-go lucky smiling when her friend’s died in front of her and she has a huge weight on her shoulders the whole show. Eventually Madoka end’s up the bravest of all of them because of her wish even though people complain about her being a crybaby but I’m pretty sure if they were in her shoes they would have done the same thing. Sorry for the rant. Just wanted to share my opinion.

Hulu and crunchyroll should have them. Also if you wanted to you could just watch the movies instead if your rushed for time or don’t want to fully invest into the show but still want to know what it’s all about . The first two movies are just a edited version of the show. Meaning some parts are cut out and some scenes are a little less detailed but you still get the main point and the 3rd movie is just it’s own thing entirely but you would have to watch the series and or the movies first. It’s definitely a changer in the magical girl genre for sure.
