Japanis getting a game and a manga. Nothing has been announced in the US/Europe yet, and I don’t see any company going after either until after the anime has been released here and they can gauge the series popularity by how well the DVDs sold. - August 18, 2015 at 8:07 AM

I think we’re both interpreting this different ways. I took it to mean she simply wasn’t feeling much of anything because there was literally something done her brain, not necessarily that she didn’t have the desire. Judging by lines from the synopsis, a number of her senses were dulled at that point.

Figures Kajishima would have detailed Ryoko’s sex life at some point 🙄 Though it is interesting that she could no longer derive much sexual pleasure. Taking the novels as canon for the moment, would that still have been the case during the time of the OVAs, and she just wanted some rumpy-bumpy with Tenchi because she loved him? Or would breaking from Kagato’s control, losing her gems, and/or being dead for a few hundred years (or some other reason) have reset this “protection” on her brain?
I assume we don’t have answers for those questions. Then again, skimming the synopsis, it seems she had a poor sense of taste as well and could only get drunk with much difficulty, neither of which seemed to be the case during the OVAs…

What does that mean? Put it on discount?
I can’t see them doing anything special for PL. Not that it was particularly unpopular, but it was far from being the most popular show that aired that season. It didn’t explode in popularity like, say, Madoka or something, and there won’t be enough product to even warrant a special promotion when it comes out. All we’ll have is the DVD and Blu-ray. It’s not like a big Shonen Jump property where they would actually have tons of DVDs and manga and merchandise galore to actually make a promotional sale out of.

Time to share more EDs. Next up, here’s Gangsta. I really love the OP. The song is fun and lively and I love the color-selective, paint-splotchy art design of the video. It really grabs your attention at the start of each episode.
[BBvideo]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vooaRsw8-1c [/BBvideo] The ED is a nice contrast to the stylish OP. It’s much more subdued and softer. I hate to bring up the Black Lagoon comparison (which this show kinda-sorta resembles but really isn’t all that similar to), but it does remind me of the contrast between BLs loud, stylish OP and calmer, orchestrated ED.
[BBvideo]http://vimeo.com/133098132 [/BBvideo] Now if only the in-show soundtrack was as good as the theme songs. Background music is so subdued it often feels like it’s not even there, and when it is noticeable, it’s typically the same 2 or 3 tracks. The show is good, but it would be THAT much better if only the soundtrack was up to snuff.

2520?
No. My comment on chronological order only applied to the list that came before it, not anything after. That’s why I specifically said “
…chronological order for theoriginal timeline… “ The live action movie’s plot is based on the first season of the original series.
That’s why I listed the live action movie and 2199 separately, because as remakes/adaptations they don’t fit into the chronology of the original series.

Well, the last volume doesn’t drop in Japan until December. I’d say if we’re lucky and there’s not an extensive grace period, we *maybe* could see it by (late?) summer of next year, but a more realistic expectation would probably be fall or winter 2016 at the earliest. Unless they make Sentai stagger their release by at least an entire year, then we probably wouldn’t see it until early 2017.

I’ll catch us up on some Punch Line news. The week the anime ended,
. Uchikoshi returns as writer.a PL visual novel/adventure game was announced for PS4 and VitaWhat’s interesting here is that the original plan for PL
wasa visual novel, before some complications put it on the backburner. The anime, which had already been green-lit, continued moving forward and ended up coming out first. The game will have different endings and branching paths depending on choices you make throughout the story. Given PL’s time loop story, all of the endings could technically be canon as things that happened in previous/future loops.
If I had to guess, we could likely recreate the anime’s ending as well, possibly with a less bittersweet variation if it lets you choose
Maybe you can even achieve the supremely happy, peaceful future? Given Uchikoshi’s reputation, things can probably go horribly, HORRIBLY, wrong as well.not to sacrifice Yuta.~~~
Today, a manga was announced. Not an adaptation, but a SEQUEL. There aren’t any story details out yet, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it features ghost Yuta immediately after the ending and follows his continued time-looping efforts to achieve that happy future.

It was my first digital picture, cut me some slack
blush1 It did come out kind of cartoony, which wasn’t necessarily what I was going for, but I don’t mind.
