The one on the bottom is definitely legit. I’ve seen it before. Geneon released it themselves in the US.

I want Washu’s son Mikumo and his wife Miyuki make a vist to Earth along with Mihoshi’s parents and her maternal and paternal grandparents. Mikumo has known about Washu being his biological mother for a long time . Yet, he is surprise to learn that she is one of the Chousin.

I believe it’s implied that they’re both long dead. Mikami is her granddaughter after all, and she’s an old lady. The odds of her father or grandfather still being around are slim to none, even with the extended, Jurai-esque lifespans the Kuramitsu’s seem to have.

I’ve always found the extended lifespans odd and difficult to explain though. Mihoshi is officially only in her 20s, right? (Or was that just Universe?) So, she ages normally up until being a young adult, and then starts aging super-slowly from there on out? Ditto for Juraians. We know Sasami is hundreds of years old like her sister, yet in the OVAs and Kajishima’s dojinshi she seems to be physically aging at a normal rate during her time on Earth. It’s so hard to wrap my head around how this works unless space years =/= earth years. But that theory opens up another whole can of worms :-?

I never did like the idea of Misaki being an immortal Counter-Actor, but what do I know?

Anyway, all the images just say, “Click to discover ImageShack?” Any idea how to view them, since clicking on them and registering with ImageShack doesn’t help?

It seems the links are broken. The uploader may have removed them or closed their account.

You could try asking Dagon or any of the other mods/long-time members to see if they happen to have them archived somewhere.

    DAY 26

I don’t believe I’ve ever really cried from watching a show, not counting tears from laughing really hard at least. The scene towards the end of GITS SAC Season 1 when
    the Tachikomas were destroyed
did make my eyes a little moist, but I think that’s as close as I’ve gotten to crying while watching an anime.

    DAY 27

    Urusei Yatsura!!!

I’ve gotta recommend this personal favorite of mine. Perhaps because it was handled by AnimEigo and was released (in it’s entirety) in single volumes over the course of several years, it always stayed very under-the-radar in the US, especially compared to the likes of InuYasha and Ranma which were both huge hits.

UY is just such a fun series. If you like Rumiko Takahashi’s sense of humor, I implore you to check this show out (along with it’s accompanying movies and OVAs).

    DAY 28

Do I share my anime interests with others? In general, not really. The only people in real life that know about it are my parents, siblings, and a handful of friends. I frequent a number of anime-centric places online (Tenchiforum, ANN, Fandom Post, etc.) to participate in the fandom, but I mostly keep my anime hobby to myself unless specifically asked about it.

    DAY 29

This one if so vague and hard to narrow down. A few that would towards the top of my favorite characters list would be (in no particular order):

Motoko Kusanagi (GITS), Haruko (FLCL) and Ryoko, of course.

So what’s the name of the new Haruhi series? Any time more Haruhi comes out it is a good sign…especially if it can ease the pain of ” The Endless Eight” .

(Aside from that Haruhi is soawesome1 )

It’s titled The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan based on the manga by Puyo, the same artist that did the Haruhi-chan comedy series.

New trailer for Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?

    [BBvideo]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbcwRt0y4kY[/BBvideo]

Just 11 days until all the new shows kick off mmmm1

    EDIT:

Even more trailers! First up, an unusual trailer for the new Haruhi spinoff. Being based on a Puyo manga it’s going to be silly, but the trailer doesn’t really give off that vibe. Makes it feel more like the movie.

And a new one for Seraph of the End as well. Snow, I know you’re interested in this one. Dunno if you’ve seen any of the trailers yet. I’m seeing lots of srs bznis and drama though. I’m wondering if it would even hold my interest.
