I heard there was some kind of digital comic included as a special feature on Geneons OVA box set. Are there any scans of it out there? Oh, Chuck. Do you still have those scans of the US comics? I have an interest in seeing them, if only for curiosity’s sake.

Check out the epic Evangelion 1.11 Toonami promo! [BBvideo 625,350]
[/BBvideo]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0E2IiiwpoX4&feature=youtu.be At first they said there wouldn’t be one because didn’t have enough time, but their editors REALLY wanted to do one and put in the extra effort to get it finished on time. Despite being longer than most promos, it even aired in full during American Dad tonight.

FUNi’s official trailer is up on their website.on the series pageIt… sure puts a big focus on the fanservice, but they didn’t forget to include some mecha action too. I’m a bit iffy on the music track though. Its seems to be a wierd remix of the music used for Funi’s Tenchi re-release trailers. It sounds very odd. Aside from that, the trailer does its job, I guess.

Its good to see they’re actually including a decent amount of bonus features in Geminar, unlike all of FUNi’s other recent Tenchi releases… - March 13, 2013 at 12:33 AM

Heres the official panel video from ToonamiFaithful.com. Something of interest to us Tenchi fans is that someone asked (at around 14:38) why they didn’t air any of the Tenchi movies. The Toonami crew had taken a look at them, but Cartoon Network was concerned about diminishing ratings. Muyo was a pleasant surprise for the network ratings-wise, but Universe got slightly lower numbers than the original OVAs, and Tokyo got slightly lower numbers than Universe. At that point, CN decided to move on from Tenchi. The Toonami crew didn’t really have any say in the matter.
But they did like the movies, and are leaving the door open on the possibility of showing them on Adult Swims Toonami at some point.

I think you misunderstood. They’re not pulling GXP (well, except for movie night next week but Soul Eater, T-Cats, Titan, and Eureka are in the same boat), they meant when it was over, they’re not sure yet if they’ll have One Piece replace it or if they’ll wait and put OP on later in the year. Either way, GXP will finish its run.
