Gah, what the crap! Why is my mic so scratchy?! Grrrr. Other than that though, this one rocked! Good editing Dagon, and thanks to everyone who stopped by! I look forward to the next one, Geminar right?

Unless I happen to see at B & N and have the money that is.

Not bloody likely. You might get lucky at a retro videogame store or an indie comic book shop or something. The retro gaming store just outside of my old college town has the entire series and all the movies on VHS sitting on their top shelf above the register! Lol every time I went in they would beg me to buy them cause they were taking up so much space!

Yeah, sadly ever since Voyager Entertainment fired Tim Eldred and nuked the starblazers.com site the prices have only gotten worse. The sets were never cheap, but Tim would often offer pretty good holiday/weekend/bundle deals that made them much more affordable. I was fortunate enough to get my sets during those blissful days, but I know that they still turn up on amazon and ebay for relatively cheap every once in a while. At this point, I’m more hoping for a box set of the 2199 blu-rays once they are all released.

Anything by Ghibli you might say.

Eh, I wouldn’t say “anything by Ghibli.” I mean pretty much anything that Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata have made with Ghibli (which is the vast majority of Ghibli’s library) is widely considered to be classic/must see material. Now, if you were to say “anything by Ghibli’s lesser known directors” I would agree entirely!

5.4th/Romana actually perfer Romana 1 as she was so elegant.

I agree totally! Romana 1 was an excellent shakeup after a long run of earthling/humanoid women. She was a Time Lady extraordinaire, but she was very young in comparison to the Doctor (only 100 years old! 😆 ) so the interplay between the seasoned know it all and the green know it all was quite fun to watch! Funny enough, she was so popular that the reason she was replaced was because she was getting more fan mail than Tom Baker! They got rid of her by regenerating her character and recasting her with Tom Baker’s wife!

It maybe small but it certainly is priceless.

Lol, I assure you that it wasn’t priceless when I bought all of it…

Sweet mother of Starsha that is glorious! I swear it’s just getting more and more beautiful and well laid out as time goes on! I hope that the companies over here are taking note of how much ass this series is kicking in the Japanese cinema and release markets, because I have a feeling that it would perform likewise over here! Either way, I find myself once again obsessively checking to see if the latest Yamato is available. I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
