Alright, if we’re going to do this we need to take a tally of who can do what. With a bit of practice, I can get back into drawing. For those of you who want to see what kind of art I do or my level of ‘skill’ I’ve got a slew of art here:
http://www.furaffinity.net/user/darkpatu [be forewarned, it’s mostly furry and if you login there is indeed some adult material]I’m currently trying to learn how to animate using Flash, an arduous process for those of us who didn’t go to art school. I’ve got a decent voice, but a piss-poor microphone. I can do a lot of voices but I’d really have to practice to get down the tone of any canon characters.
You all also know I’m a writer, but if this is going to be a forum-wide project, I think we should collaborate on a script, something we all want to see and watch and would be proud to have our name on.
I’m currently getting in contact with the voice actors/actresses that I know, and also those few people I can name that have some modicum of animation skill. Once we have something more concrete we can look into contacting professional animators and see if they would be willing to work with us on providing services as key animator for the project.
If you have a talent, skill, or just the drive to help make this happen reply in kind!

…and thank you for writing! I’ve said it before and it’s worth saying again, great work! I still haven’t gotten around to reading the “quintessential” SI fiction, but yours is one of the few I’ve seen that actually works and doesn’t feel forced. I’m waiting for 12 and 13 with baited breath! - October 1, 2012 at 3:56 AM

This was a thought I had while reading this: Has anyone stepped forward and asked Petrea or the rest of the crew for permission to use their voice? Even in a non-profit fan-recording it’d be nicer to ask permission instead of for forgiveness, especially since Petrea herself knows about the TenchiForum.com. I’m all for a redubbing, but I’d like to pay my respects to the original cast first before we go gung-ho. - September 28, 2012 at 4:43 AM

Dude, awesome AMV. I really need to finish watching G Gundam, it looks like it gets really badass at the end. I think I stopped watching when I saw the French gundam was a giant clown. I said “Ohhhhkay… that’s enough for me….” Of course I watched Wing before G, and Mobile Suit Gundam before it as well, so my tastes were a little skewed on the whole thing. Amazing job on the video though, well cut, good music choice and great timing! - September 27, 2012 at 1:25 PM

I’m sure it’s not my FIRST first cosplay, but the most memorable has to be the year me, my sister and a group of our friends got together and did a Naruto cosplay. http://animebelle.com/galleries/v/abcosplay/classic/album52/album56/PICT0058.jpg.html http://animebelle.com/galleries/v/abcosplay/classic/album52/album56/PICT0059.jpg.html I’m our Kiba, right there in the middle, baby-faced as all get-out.
The following year I went as Jiraiya to much better results. Still clean shaven (ugh) but looking better.
http://animebelle.com/galleries/v/abcosplay/classic/album98/album102/PICT0203.jpg.html I haven’t really cosplayed much recently, though I was a vault dweller at D*C several years ago but I can’t find any pictures of that.

My first con ever was Dragon*Con back in… oh hell, 1997? ’98? I went with my mother’s ‘renaissance troup’ and spent most of my time playing D&D, snatching up magic the gathering cards that were left from the big tournaments and oggling all the costumes. A chainmail bikini is a hell of a thing to see when you’re fourteen. imcryingsomuchplz - September 27, 2012 at 2:29 AM

I notice there’s a lot of PSN, Steam and XBLA running about. If I had one I would share it. HOWEVER, should you come visit Azeroth and find yourself on Stormrage, you can look up Splug and we can go hunting together.

Golden eye was a dream at the ripe old age of 13. My youth was spent with Jazz Jackrabbit and Wolfenstein, which quickly led to Doom, Doom II, Duke Nukem and Hexen. Now of course we have the ‘Halols’ and ‘Calls of Doody’. Fiddlesticks!
