Oddly enough, Washu was technically the only one of the girls that literally got into Tenchi’s pants http://antiotaku.files.wordpress.com/2010/09/tenchimuyo18.png " />

I’m glad other Tenchi fans think this too. I pretend OVA 3 doesn’t exist.

What is your guys’ favorite OVA episode? For me, it’s really a hard choice because to be honest I love all of the episodes, but episode 4 was when I started to feel more emotionally attached to the characters and story.
I love the hot springs episode, but I think my favorite is Episode 11 when Zero clones Ryoko and we see this shy blushing side of Ryoko, it was really cute to see her blush at the sight or thought of Tenchi

As fans who enjoy the world of this series, we’ve gotten used to the girls all living under one roof with Tenchi, and most of us probably can’t imagine it any other way. That episode gave us a glimpse of that and showed that Tenchi himself probably hadn’t thought they would ever really leave, either.
Yeah I always thought that part was really sad, to be in his shoes and used to a big family of friends like that under a big roof and then it’s back to silence. For me that was the most heart-wrenching moment of the series. Glad Universe had an optimistic ending though, especially with the Ryoko x Tenchi pairing at the end.

I always also perceived this as the ending for the OVAs since OVA 3 is just too radically different in art style/animation/character cast/story arc. I always preferred the mangas’ continuation after the Kagato encounter. I wish the mangas would have been animated.

Yeah the pic was done in MS paint quickly so it wasn’t really intended by smoothed out. Maybe one day I’ll try to make a more refined pic. I always imagined for a crossover idea that she could have some Saiyan DNA acquired by Washu, since she’d be her creator, and like you said with her reaction to Tenchi’s death, a death of a loved one could trigger something like a super saiyan transformation since she’d be so emotional.
She’s lazy but at the same time she is a space pirate and has been in many battles. She does like to fight, and saiyans get stronger after every fight. And being Washu’s creation and all, her fighting abilities and potential could be amplified beyond normal saiyans. At least that’s how I’d imagine it.

I love Ryoko for all the reasons stated on the first page pretty much. She’s a perfect balance of tomboyish/independent bad girl while being feminine and has a soft spot. Really there is no other character like her, she’s one of a kind.
And half the reason I love the character so much is because Petrea Burchard has the PERFECT voice for her! I cannot watch anything Tenchi related if Petrea isn’t Ryoko.
