    This is really a double edged sword for me, as we just got done licensing FUNi, and Crunchyroll’s stipulations for clubs are more strict, you have to show their stuff so many times per quarter to keep an account. Now we have to meet both, show both, manage it even more because they won’t cross populate the catalogs. Crunchy would be more advantageous due to other distributors using them too… but then now we miss out on dubbings.

    I see why they are doing it, but at the same time it doesn’t change a whole lot to the customer. It actually makes things more expensive unless you are a one or the other user, not both. Because now Funi will have dubs, and Crunchy Subs, and you’ll have to have a subscription to both. Ultimately it wouldn’t surprise me to see FUN buy out Crunchy, but it’ll be a sad day when it finally happens.

    This one is pretty jumbled. It’s got bits and pieces, Partner to Mizuko and being a team leader. But then it also is saying something like she miscarried a baby and is either the only one to hold on to a boyfriend, or she’s looking for a boyfriend. It’s pretty messed up, so grain of salt here.

    Without a Chousin level intervention, I honestly can’t see Shank of all villans (come on he’s basically a serious version of Seiryo) beat down the Tenchi household. Ryoko alone would jack him up.

    There’s a guy who lived in Japan, but has been back in the states for several years. His in-laws are moving in with him and the misses, so he was ordered to clear out his many decades old stash of anime in the garage. He’s been slowly parting it out during our anime group meetings.

    I got the PAC newsletters and a few other stashes of old stuff like some tenchi and AMG comics, and this box of mags, as well as a trunk full of recorded VHS tapes in Japanese. Got a couple of posters. Lot of it is from the late 80’s era.
