it for the first time it kinda freaked me hearing “Goku”‘s voice.
Same here- wait… THAT’S GOKU!?!?!?!?

I’m still beating myself up for not taping that when it first aired… before it hit DVD.

‘Outlanders’, although just an OAV of 45-50 minutes, is a fun romp. Basic setup- alien princess comes to Earth, looking for a potential mate. Young, nubile Japanese photographer comes up as she’s laying waste to the local military forces left and right. She connects with him romantically almost instantaneously… him, not so much. Sure, it seems contrived. But this was the 80’s… and this WAS one of AIC’s first projects before doing ‘Tenchi Muyo’.

SUCCINCTlowdown of the different installments in this franchise and a recommended watching order so I can get caught up? Movies and TV series follow two different continuities. Both deviate from source manga, but are fine in their realms. If you want a good sit-down for a while thing, watch GitS and GitS 2: Innocence. If you want it in bits and pieces that make more cohesive sense, however, watch both seasons of the show and the ‘Solid State Society’ film.

This one is actually kinda sad if you know of the Dio they’re actually referring to for this. [BBvideo 425,350]
[/BBvideo]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYJbIVUA8Tg How about when the crew sees Sparrow for the first time in At World’s End? [BBvideo 425,350]

(No clips… damn.)
I personally liked the duo of WWII films Clint Eastwood did for Iwo Jima. Two sides fighting against each other, but feeling the very same pains for different reasons. DAMMIT, WHY DIDN’T KEN WATANABE GET BEST ACTOR FOR HIS WORK THERE!?!?!?!?
