Now that’s what I call vintage fandom! Glad to have another fan aboard, and especially a fanfic writer. We’ve got quite the talent already, it’s exciting to see more join up! Welcome to Tenchiforum, GaianKnight!
kiyonesmile1 Coffee and muffins will be fresh out of the kitchen in a bit.VHS days, huh? Back when it cost an arm and a leg for an episode or two a tape, and finding them was rare as hell. Always cool to meet someone who got in at the ground floor for Tenchi fandom. Welcome to Tenchiforum and enjoy your stay, coffee and muffins will be available shortly! kiyonesmile1 charliepanayi wrote:Have you heard the new Scott Walker/Sunn O))) album? It’s very good.
Took me a few listens before I really had it click for me. I think I was expecting more of Sunn O))), but once I realized it was Scott’s show and Greg/Stephen were just there to hang the drapery around him as he warbled I really enjoyed it. Reminded me a bit of the time they hooked up with Julian Cope for the spoken word piece in
, but far more theatrical. I saw someone describe it as “Phantom of the Opera, if the actor playing the phantom thought he really was the character”, and I can’t think of a better way to explain Soused. My Wall- October 31, 2014 at 9:31 PM

Momo’s giving a breakdown of how everything went at the festival so far and comments on how she felt spending so much time with Tenchi. She’s got it bad, bad, bad… she’s hot for Sensei. She just doesn’t quite know it yet. Though that comes to no surprise, look at who we’re talking about here.
Super Cut will be live as soon as we can get it ready.
To top off “Nil, please stop the seance” “Ṋ̨͉̘͚͉̹̺̪͚̺͕̳̥̲͘͢͢O̵̻̰̝͔̞͕̖̱̯̙̗͎̥͔̼̙̹͜͠͡͝ͅ ̢̭̻̞̤̥͠ì̵̳͖̯̝̞̺̝̮̱̳͔̞̣͎̙͙̼̟t̸̮͍̫̜̯͇͖̰͕̺̟͕͖̼̣̻̘̮͘͜ ̨̢̛̫̦̯̰͉̤̤̫͚͙̱͓͓̯͍̲ͅi̛̼̯̩̬̩͉͢͞s̶̸̶̰͉̺̫͍͘͢ ͘͏͔͉͎̯͚͙̟̯̜͚̤̱̼̼ţ̳̤̳̫̀͠ǫ̶̴̹̻͍̙̥͍̮͍̠̤̮͈͜͠o͖̙̞̥͡͝ ̨̱̣͎̦̙͙̦̼̬̣̦̜̞̙͘͢͞͝l̸̸̫̬͕̤̹̮̖̹̫̖͚̞̞̠a҉͟͜͏͚͎̭̺̫̣̲̮͡ţ̸͉̣̞͚͖͙̻̟̙̠̰̬̀è̢̬͙̬̞͔̞̦͘̕͢” halloween music in the mouth of madness, a few final pieces: [BBvideo 425,350]
[/BBvideo]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K1HEiQJEmBg Having actually gotten to see this song live minus the choir, I can, in fact, confirm that living through it is similar to witnessing a satanic birthing ritual. The buildup of the organ, droning wall of guitars and fallen angelic voices decrying the heaven which forgot them all leads to Attila Csihar’s inhumanly robotic exclamation of “Megszentségteleníthetetlenségeskedéseitekért”, the longest hungarian word, speaking on one’s inability to be desecrated. Desecration by what, exactly? We don’t know. All I can imagine is being at the center of a podium with a hooded figure standing above me, waving a bony, clawed hand mere inches from my body. Each toll of the bell a punctuation on the final moments of my life.
Honestly, pretty much any of Sunn O)))’s output could work here. But I feel that Big Church represents them at their most experimental, as well as their most digestible. If you’re feeling particularly frisky,
for some chilling dark ambient and black metal drones.peruse their fine outputAnd finally:

is the third part of “The inmost light” trilogy, which used a series of repeated words, phrases and sounds as part of the central theme. The trilogy began on a lush but tense note, and ended in the middle of the woods surrounded by the folds of reality tearing apart with the swaying of the breeze withThe Starres are Marching Sadly HomeStarres. While less strictly musical, it is an exemplary track that I always bring up when referring to the power of audio above all else when creating an unsettling atmosphere. Everything from the way Tibet chants to the echoing of a vinyl record looping constantly through an open window at the edge of the forest. The way the forest breathes with a low-key chorus and the wood of trees unseen creak from pressure and decay. A the very end, a motherly voice assures us everything will be okay with a gentle lullaby. But there’s no love to her voice. It’s almost taunting the listener in a way, reassuring them of their hopelessness in the situation.
Happy Halloween, everybody.

Came out really nicely! When you said you were gonna color it, I imagined it being digital – so this was a nice surprise. And the shadowing on the contours of her face was a good touch. I think she’d approve of you catching her on her good side. The bitch.

mustgo on! Ukan’s punishment for getting too physical with the students is a cruel one, but not one we haven’t seen before from this series – as seen in Universe when he had to crossdress to go undercover. Hey Wispy, guess you’ve got your basis for how Tenchi’d look as a woman now, huh? kiyonesmile1 So with Tenchi going full Makoto Mizuhara, some hijinx are sure to come next week. I imagine we’ll be getting some callbacks to Universe’s bikini contest episode. Dare I say we’ll see Nagi show up to take first place again? Also glad to see the Guardians show up today. We haven’t seen anything relating to them up to this point, so #TeamRyoOhki can still hold out hope!

Also, did anyone catch Touri sitting in the audience at the play eating Sasami snacks? You know, just like she said she wanted to do in Episode 17?😆

It could very possibly be intended to be that building (seeing as this IS a show about Takahashi), but overheads of both campuses show drastically different featuresets. http://i.minus.com/iLpJAwGZf08I5.jpg" /> The only similarities between the two campuses are green roofing on part of the campus and the inclusion of a suspended walkway. They may be going for a romanticized, “this is this campus in the future” version since they have robots and all.
