Not usually one for this kind of music but something about PSO’s orchestral-electronica soundtrack really stuck with me through the years. One of my favorite tracks was from the first half of the final boss from Episode 2, ‘IDOLA’ have the Immortal Featherby Hideaki Kobayashi. [BBvideo 425,350]

I get a bit choked up remembering the first time my crew and I got to him and realizing how unprepared we truly were for that battle.

Since we’re all always up for some kinda co-op deal, a mixture of getting excited about with Dagon and seeing a friend launchSOMA out of the blue made me remember how somewhat enjoyable if short of an experience Alien Swarm was. I’m lookin to try and get a few runs of it going sometime. It is free and runs on the L4D2/Portal 2 version of Source Engine so if you can run either of those you’ll run it just fine.Alien SwarmYou’ll have to bring your A-games though as dying in a level means being

When it came to Nintendo racers, I was always way more of an F-Zero man myself. Mario Kart was good fun but I never really felt like they clicked with me like Super Mario Kart on the SNES did. There really isn’t anything quite like them though. Blur was the closest we’ve gotten to a non-Nintendo arcade racer with power ups and even then the fact that it was grounded in reality took away from part of what made Mario Kart so great. Never forget Rainbow Road.

Amazon’s really trying to put their all into this thing. Shame they couldn’t get HBO Go on their list of services, but on the surface it’s certainly leaping over the other Set-top boxes. http://i.imgur.com/VwkzLbf.png" /> Not really compelling for me as a games machine, but hey at least it is looking to start off on a better foot than Ouya right?
