I think it’s a hot-linking problem. Viewing the image directly from the url works just fine for me.

Can anyone verify this?

That might apply for properties with an original-source manga or novel (or even game) to base the anime on (ex. Ah! My Goddess). But Tenchi is very much a work-for-hire property, although Kajishima gets to be the producer for OVA-related series.
