A what if death: Sasami
Sasami and Ryo-Ohki are the pure-hearted souls that a large cast of larger-than-life personalities needs. As it does for Tenchi on more than one occasion, it keeps us all tethered to Earth once in a while and gives us some space from…well, everyone else.
Sasami is the little to everyone in the Tenchi household. The innocent soul in the house of mix and conflicted people. Several instances of the household helping her in school life, personal crisis or whatever she is trying to accomplish. Sasami helps out and takes care of everyone in the household, someone that is just there for everyone. If she was in danger everyone would come to protect her.
The gang does get into trouble, often times deadly and puts them all in danger. If the one character that is the youngest, innocent, and is the one everyone would let be hurt dies, there mentality would most likely shatter. Death would shatter anyone close to you, but more so when it is a child. Especially Ayeka, being the big sister that is always supposed to be there for Sasami. She would most likely lash out at anyone trying to comfort her, after being torn through by her own family for letting her sister die following her. A consequence for the household that is thrown into dangerous situations, a death of an important member.
