    Amazon has discounted the preorder price of the Tenchi Muyo! OVA Series DVD/BD Combo to $40.29 (as opposed to $41.99 at Rightstuf).

    Thats a fantastic price, if anyone wants it but hasn’t ordered it yet now’s the time.

    Totally unexpected. Naruto returns to Toonami uncut on Dec. 1st. Not sure how I feel about this, but at the very least it should bring in decent ratings.

    How odd to hear FUNi doesn’t have the Mihoshi Special. Since its already available remastered for Bluray I would’ve thought they’d get it automatically when they got the BD rights for the OVAs since it was lumped in with the OVA JP BD set (then again, I’m no expert on the intricacies of anime licensing :? ). I guess that means its treated as a seperate license?

    Wish the OOP Geneon DVD was cheaper or I would just buy that, same goes for the JP BD set, but I simply can’t afford it. Not that the Mihoshi Special alone is even worth the several hundred dollars it would cost me to import the OOP(?) boxset.

    That artificial remote-controlled sun episode was pretty crazy awesome too. Thats one of those wacky “out there” ideas that seems to be a relic from decades past. Rarely does anyone come up with crazy crap like that nowadays, but they really should 😉

    Well Chuck, I sat through the wierd Beeland episode again this week. Having seen that episode twice now, I gotta say, It’s not one of my favorites

    But I did finally make it to the episode where we learn the truth about Sandor’s fake limbs and y’know, the fact that, this whole time, they’ve concealed BOMBS. The dude keeps bombs in his arms and feet! Wazzup with that!?

    I’ve been so busy these past few weeks I got behind on some of my anime watching.

    I finally hit episode 18 of Star Blazers, and I had to suffer through that silly Bee Planet episode again to get there 🙄 . But thats ok, now I’m more than half-way done!

    I finished the first Hellsing Ultimate set which contained the first 4 episodes, and they were AWESOME. Can’t wait to watch the next 4! :D

    Also made it to episode 9 of Tenchi Universe. Nagi finally shows up in the next episode! :washu:
