I started watching Star Blazers over the weekend. I’m on episode 6. I also started watching Sym-Bionic Titan and Thundercats on Toonami.

For Tenchi albums it would take a company willing to license and release anime soundtracks, which no one has really done since Geneon went belly-up. There just wasn’t alot of money in that market unfortunately.
More likely (but still a long shot) would be the actual artists that preformed the various Tenchi songs putting their own albums/singles up. They wouldn’t be part of Tenchi albums, but the songs would obviously be the same. There is a precedence for this, popular artists like Kalafina, LiSA, and Hikaru Utada (just to name afew) all have albums up for download on iTunes/Amazon. Unfortunately, its mostly just these massively popular artists that have their music officially available in the english market. In 2012 I just don’t think the groups that sung the Tenchi Muyo theme songs back in the 90’s can really compare to the popularity of these new artists. But it never hurts to keep your fingers crossed.

Honestly, both Casshern and Samurai 7 hooked me from the beginning. It was Deadman Wonderland that I didn’t like all that much. I think my preferences just lean more towards slower-moving plot-driven shows that also have some action. I watch everything else thats on too except Bebop (which I own and have already seen), GITS SAC Season 1 (which I also own, but I was watching 2nd Gig when it was on), and I just recently dropped FMA:B (which I’ve decided to buy, and wanted afew “new” episodes to watch on BD). - October 6, 2012 at 11:13 PM

Wow, 38 years and still going strong. Thats quite an achievement I also have to give props to you Chuck, for singlehandedly revitalizing my interest in the franchise. I can’t remember if I mentioned this before, but I was watching Star Blazers during its brief run on Syfy before they dropped their anime block, and while I kept meaning to get back to it… I never actively tried to seek out the rest and finish it. However after seeing some of the trailers for the new series posted here, and reading your extensive post about what order to watch the series in at the top of this page I finally decided to give it another go from the beginning. Give yourself a pat on the back, you’ve recruited a new fan into the Star Force ranks

iTunes, like officially? No, unfortunately. I highly doubt that will ever happen.
