    Hmmm, I could have sworn I saw something on ANN a while back about it, but now I can’t find anything so I guess I was mistaken.

    @The_Evil_Genius: Please use the spoiler feature when referring to highly important plot points, not everybody has seen all of Eva after all and we don’t want to spoil it for people.

    Anyway, just out of curiosity, did your guys’ opinions of Eva remain consistent from the first episode, or did they change as you watched the show? I know (as odd as it may sound, lol) I actually really disliked the show for the first several episodes during my first watch through. Maybe I just needed some sweet Asuka screen time, or maybe I had to watch the whole show before I could enjoy the beginning, but whatever it was it took quite a while for me to get into it. What about you all? Did your love (or hate) of the first few eps continue throughout, or did you change your mind halfway through?

    I know FUNi released the dub cast a little while ago, but for the sake of general edification does anybody have a link to it handy for us? I’d kinda like to know if they got the whole gang back or not.

    Well, the name of the contest IS “Sexiest in Anime,” and Blue Rose certainly has the, ahem, assets. Now if only the buxom, blue-haired, sci-fi vote had come out for our candidate just as strongly…

    Indeed. For ANY classic anime character to make it this far in such a young voting group is astounding, and really speaks volumes about how incredibly popular and influential Ryoko (and all of Tenchi Muyo! for that matter) still is today. While she may have lost today, she’s proven that even twenty years later people remember her. I doubt a single one of these finalists will EVER be able to say that. Cheers to you Ryoko, and may your popularity last another twenty years!

    Also, apparently since she made it into the semi-finals she will automatically be entered in next year’s tournament, so this is not the end!

    Took me a while, but as promised here are the Tenchi Muyo! Collector Cards I got from the packs I picked up at Nekocon. Quite a good haul, all things considered, but I did end up with some duplicates. I’ve added the red numbers in the corners to denote the card numbers. I’ve also added green highlights around the edges of the cards I have doubles of, in case anybody wants to buy or trade with me ;)
