I must admit to being very jealous of your getting to visit all those amazing real life places from Tenchi! I am very interested in learning more about your vlog, as I too am a MASSIVE nerd/geek! Perhaps you could link us to some of your work? Along the same lines, you might be interested to listen/watch some of our very own podcasts and videos devoted to all things Tenchi, the one and only Tenchicast! I’m sure that with your enthusiasm, experience, and unique position in Japan that you would make an excellent addition to the cast if you feel so inclined! Anyway, It’s great to meet you and I hope that you make yourself at home and that we can get to know each other better in the days to come!

    Ah, I was wondering when someone was going to post about this here. Yeah, I’ve seen this reported earlier but I chose not to raise it here for several reasons, mainly because as Tim Eldred (Yamato Guru) has said, this is literally only the very first shaky step in the LOOOONG corporate dance it is going to take to solidify this. All it really means is that the production company has decided that it maybe possibly some time in the future might want to release the show abroad. Happy news indeed, but I’m saving the celebration for an announcement from a western licensor.

    Well, to celebrate a very successful all-nighter I pulled two days ago, I decided to treat myself to some manga goodness yesterday! I originally went in just to pick up the next Sailor Moon manga, but….. well, you know how it goes! 😆

    I ended up getting the volume 1-3 omnibus of the Evangelion manga (which, FYI fellow EVA fans, is super high quality and a FANTASTIC bargain! It’s printed on larger, high quality paper, and it’s got tons of interviews with staff and cast members. I highly recommend picking it up!) and the first half of the Trigun manga omnibus. So yeah, that’s what I’ll be reading for quite a long time :D
