Well, well, well. Look who decided to finally show up!http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff178/chucklocker/Linked%20Images/Ryo-Ohki_zps42bb674d.png" /> Not much of a cameo, but at least her continuing existence is confirmed!

Happy birthday to our very own Who! Happy birthday and merry Christmas, dear sir! Grab a nice cold one (or more ) and curl up in front of the fire with your El Hazard blu rays. You’ve earned it! - December 25, 2014 at 11:50 PM

http://animatorexpo.com/untilyoucometome/http://animatorexpo.com/untilyoucometome/” class=”bbcode_url”> Wow. So for those not following Studio Khara’s latest project of producing shorts by up and coming young animators (which I recommend you do, because some of them are really neat!) the latest one was Evangelion related! Directed by the film director of the rebuild movies, scored by the composer of the movies, animated by Studio Khara, and executive produced by Anno himself, this is an honest to goodness Evangelion animation!
Set to an orchestral version of the stirring Irish folk song “Danny Boy,” it’s mostly a series of landscapes and collages, but there is some full motion animation towards the end. The coolest thing though is that it is set after the events of the third rebuild movie! Give it a watch Eva fans, and tell me what you think!

So in Episode 51 (Episode 41 revised numbering) the UN tries to coverup the existence of the GP headquarters by telling the world that a Russian satellite is falling from orbit. http://i1332.photobucket.com/albums/w609/Why_Crazed/Tenchi/RocketLauncherSpaceMagic2_zps96e01611.png" /> Unfortunately, that’s no satellite…
http://i239.photobucket.com/albums/ff178/chucklocker/Linked%20Images/57205559_zps831f704d.jpg" /> Not just any space station either, but an honest to goodness Real Life space station! In this case, the real world location is the Soviet/Russian space station Mir (Russian for “Peace”).
http://pedagogie.ac-toulouse.fr/eco-primaire-viollet-le-duc-toulouse/Les_images/image002.jpg " /> De-orbited in 2001, Mir was the first outer space construction project, and an iconic achievement of manned space exploration. Instead of falling on Takahashi city, however, Mir safely broke up over the sparsely populated Australian outback. It’s unconfirmed if any man-eating spiders, insanely venomous toads, or deadly box jellyfish were injured by falling debris.

Everyone always forgets about me… NOTICE ME DAMMIT! rageblow1 Lol, anyway, I’ll give it a go.
Dagon & Who are Yuki and Rui. You guys have been together through it all, and even when it seemed everyone else had gone you still had each other. You’ve been together so long that you know each others idiosyncrasies, and you can practically finish each others sentences.
Nil & Crazed are Touri and Hana. You guys are the real movers and shakers behind the Support Staff. You don’t always get the praise and recognition you deserve, but at the end of the day it’s you guys who keep the good stuff rolling out everyday. As Hana and Touri have to deal with the weirdness and absentmindedness of Hachiko and Momo, so too do you put up with my Law School psychoses.
Pii is Tenchi. You’re just trying to figure out why we’re all so crazy!
😆 Kiyami is Ukan. You’re quick to deal discipline, yet truly caring and looking out for everyone’s best interest.
Shadows is Ryo-Ohki. Where’d you go, dude, it’s like we hardly even see you anymore! (JK, we know you’re workin’ hard and movin’ around a lot. Keep fighting the good fight!)
That’s it for now. If I forgot someone then WELCOME TO MY WORLD!
(Nah, JK, I’ll get you next time!

- in reply to: Wanderers vs.
In my opinion, Wanderers can’t hold a candle to the original OVA. That being said, I think Wanderers is a fine show, and easily worth a watch (and yes, a buy) on its own merits. I’ll join the chorus of those who compare it with Tenchi Universe. The basic setup is the same as the first OVA, but it’s more stretched out, more goofy in the beginning and middle sections, and lacks the jumping animation and soaring musical score that comes with an OVA budget. The one thing that definitely holds up just as well as the original, though, is the dub. Every one of the actors returns and reprises their roles, and having played them for longer when the show was dubbed they are even more comfortable in their roles. The changes in the plot and characters are a mixed bag, and will really depend on your taste. A goofier Ifurita removes the tension of the star-crossed romance between her and Makoto, but it adds a pretty fun foil for Jinnai and his hijinks. Likewise, Rune Venus’ transformation from majestic sovereign to cutesy love interest is pretty cliche, but it does lead to an interesting friendship/rivalry between her and Nanami. Axing Fatora entirely was a stroke of genius, lol. Final verdict, if you can get it for a reasonable price The Wanderers is well worth any good El Hazard fan’s time, and should at the very least provide a solid 26 episodes of entertainment for a burgeoning Anime Club’s library.
