    I think OVA 3’s art style looks hideous, what is up with Ryoko’s ears?

    I always preferred OVA 1 & 2 and TU’s art design. The movies looked good except for MnE in my opinion but acceptable. TMIL2 looked radically different like a more realistic design but looks good.

    Basically I’m old school

    My favorite Miho-Kiyo part is in Tenchi in Love where Kiyone is taking a bath and disappears while talking to Mihoshi

    Just figure I’d pass this along, This video (and other videos of Tenchi) have a very good chance of being flagged or outright blocked by FUNimation or BandaiChannel, and youtube will hold it against your account and or terminate your account, so just be leary of this when you upload Tenchi content to youtube.

    Thanks, I’m aware of that. There are other Tenchi videos out there which have been posted for years and they’re still up. So we’ll see what happens.

    I agree as well, that episode was the 1st time we saw the entire cast together, and it was great to see their interactions together. I always loved the bit where Ryoko tried the ‘Earth style’ way of approaching Tenchi by bumping into him and introducing herself 😆

    I felt there was a lot of content in Ep 7, more so than the rest

    You know, I’ve always wondered why Ryoko attacked Tenchi the first episode and almost killed him if she’s interested in him (as explained in ep 5; she watched him grow up). It never made sense to me. She wasn’t just playing around, she almost killed him until the sword activated unbeknownst to both of them.

    My favorite Ryoko clip has to be from the Pretty Sammy series when she’s with Tenchi in a cave with a tear running down her face and they’re about to kiss

    I like all the characters honestly, except Ayeka. I think in the OVA (1 and 2) she was more tolerable because in Universe and other series (especially Pretty Sammy) she seemed to just thwart Ryoko instead of actively pursuing Tenchi as much as Ryoko did. It may be a biased observation but that’s how I see it.

    Mihoshi in the OVA is hilarious too, it was a more subtle ditzy humor than something blatantly ridiculous like Tokyo where she was pretty much there just to be stupid with Kiyone yelling at her constantly.

    I think I prefer the OVA (1, 2) character origins and personalities best, Universe and the movies are also good. I like how Universe had an overarching plot and it was more adventurous than the OVA where they just sat around a lot (not that I mind that, it was great for character development).

    Edit: Also Noboyuki, his comedic relief is great!
