The first time I saw Ryoko wasn’t actually on Tenchi Muyo, but in some dreams I had many years ago, a few years before Tenchi Muyo. When I saw her on tv for the first time I was stunned that the woman in my dreams looked liked her( just a few diffrences here and there, but who cares). That is probabley the first reason I love this chararcter. Secondly, her eyes. I don’t know why, but those eyes are just so intriguing. The way she had those eyelashes exentiated( think that’s how you spell it) those golden eyes of her and you can’t help to look away when they are up so close. Thirdly, her attitude made me like her alot. Even though she had that bad/tough girl attitude going we all know she has a very caring side to her. Thirdly, if she liked someone she wasn’t afraid to say it, if she knew what she wanted, she would go after it with all shes got. Fourthly, i would have to say her hair. Who could ever forget that hair huh? Fifthly, when they had Petrea voice her, it went together like chocolate and peanutbutter, it was perfect. She made such an impact to me as a kid, that I had my first anime crush on her, because I wanted a girl like that one day. When the tenchi series went off the air, the only thing I could remember after it’s long abscence was her name. Some time last year, I looked up her name and found out the show she was on. Afterwords i went on youtube to find the first episode and happened to find myself on the tenchiforum channel. As soon as the video started and the music played, I was hit by a tsunami sized proportion of nostalgia. If it weren’t for ryoko, I would have completly forgoten about this wonderful show. So I guess i owe Petrea a big thank you for being the character I would never forget.
