    From what I’ve read Toonami has EVA 2.22 to thank for saving it’s butt.The movie drew in enough viewers

    to keep it going.

    Yes,I got the version that Nozomi came out with.Great fun reading to comments that come along with each

    episode.

    Even though I only have two volumes of the manga it’s a great read and helps to introduce the setting in volume 1,which really is the prelude to the series.

    What happened to Utena’s aunt might help to explain some of the reasons why Utena herself might lean

    toward lesbianism.

    I think without reading that part of the manga you might not quite understand Utena’s motivation.

    IIRC though the movie ‘The Adolesecence of Utena’ is more out and out with the entire subtext than

    the series though,it also has the rep for being a bit weirder too.

    I don’t mind the entire yuri thing either as long as there’s a reason for it being there.

    And with apologies to Chu Chu but Nanami is the series epic buttmonkey! :P

    I think though whatever the relationship that Aeka in Universe might have had with Yosho,she was still a child like in the OVAs when he left so she might not remember him too well.Especially if unlike the OVAs

    their relationship wasn’t as close.

    I think most of the points stated are valid but I would again point out that it wouldn’t be Tenchi if there wasn’t the entire Ryoko vs. Aeka thing going on.Agree drop most of the harem as for me it has always been about Ryoko vs. Aeka to see who gets Tenchi’s affection.The way I would love to see it end though would be in an all out dual with the winner getting Tenchi.That be epic fun! mmhmm1

    Of course we don’t want Tenchi turning into FLCL but breaking the fourth wall wasn’t primarily what I had in mind to begin with,although it would be fun every once in awhile.

    In the end this is all fun to speculate and as fans we can only hope that something like a Tenchi Reboot or

    Remake could come our way before some of us get buried six feet under.

    Yeah #4 is rather obvious but I will refrain from giving the answers until other people have gotten a chance

    And now Wonder Woman has become part of my Saturday night viewing on Metv taking the place of

    Lost In Space which replaced Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea which is on hiatus.

    I saw the pilot movie last Friday and the first episode last Saturday.Basically not as campy as Batman

    but still not as serious as say Smallvillebut still all fun.What I really liked about it was the fact that in the first season that’s set in WW2 Lionel Waggoner’s character of Major Steve Travers doesn’t just sit around

    on the sidelines and let Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman do all the fighting.He gets some pretty good licks in himself in the pilot and the first episode.

    It do get a bit weird at times but that’s one of the reasons why Utena is so much fun to watch and read.I have the first part,The Student Council Saga and volumes 1 and 3 of the manga.Saito did a great job with the manga. kiyonesmile1

    I think Utena has to be my favorite overall character.Of the male characters my favorite is Chuuchuu!

    Gotta love that durn monkey of Anthy’s!

    Animewise I don’t know which episode was the weirdest in the first part:the one with all the elephants in it or the one where Anthy and Utena switch bodies.

    Anyhoo,I would recommend that anyone who hasn’t seen it yet check it out do so.It’s fun and weird and

    monkeys abound!
