I don’t think it’s just Tenchi. Some of the other Funi titles I’ve bought lately seem to also have a lack of much in the line of extras.Probably streamlining to make the product more cost effective for them.
Two things I hope they have on the War on Geminar DVDs are character bios and VA/Seiyuu interviews.

And who get forget her taunting of Aeka in episode 2 when she’s being tortured and still has the nerve to proclaim that she’s a sadist.

That be another place I’d think about living too. That and Ireland would be two of my alternate choices to Japan.
The reason I wouldn’t pick Canada is it’s too much like the U.S. and besides I already been there, done that and bought the t’shirt.

That is true.I think very few people would have thought we’d be at the point we are now that Toonami is even into a second season. That fact should show that there are plenty of die-hard anime fans out there willing to stay up late for their weekly fix.
Too bad about the ratings dropping off after the original Tenchi OVAs though.
I wonder if that has something to do with the fact that Tit hasn’t been the most popular of the Tenchi titles and the same with GXP.Though I wonder why Universe had such low ratings.I thought it was the most popular next to the original OVAs.

Japan, specifically the countryside just to see what life is like outside of the city. Also because I hate big cities and am a small town boy at heart. - March 11, 2013 at 6:46 PM

Well I didn’t get into anime as early as most of you did.In fact I didn’t get into anime until the turn of the century/millennium so there are titles from the last century/millennium that I’ve probably still not aware of yet.

As far as the One Piece announcement,it does sound a bit ambiguous as to how they meant it.So you can see why Chuck was so confused,I thought they were replacing GXP with One Piece as well. Now as far as the EVA movie goes,I happen to have both 1.11 and 2.0 in my collection and have already seen 1.11.Chuck and anyone else who hasn’t seen it,you’re going to enjoy it.And for Shinji haters out there:
rejoice,he gets bitch slapped at least TWICE!
There’s also an important moment in the movie when
Misato shows Shinji Lilith- March 11, 2013 at 6:27 PM

I’ve got volumes 3 and 4 of Elfen Lied and have seen volume 4 abuot twice now,so when I get around to viewing it again it will be the first time for volume 3. Friday I re-started what I have of NOIR.I get a kick out of the fact that Mirielle in the original Japanese is played by Mistuisi Kotono who is better known as Usagi/Sailor moon on Sailor moon and Excel on Excel Saga.So it is a change of pace to hear her doing a rather more serious character who isn’t a ditz.
Saturday I saw episode 14 of Blassreiter and ended Joseph’s back story.Mei Fong and Joseph’s sister
Sasha show up at the end.Though
Sasha’s supposed to be deadSunday episode 2 of Tenchi.
