Day 6 – Doin this one early into the day since Crazed reminded me of it. I’m not really huge into Cosplay. I think it can be done very well and there’s some incredible costumes out there, but it isn’t something I want to bother doing. That said, I did consider trying to pull together one costume for Chibi Pa, which I ended up giving up on because I hadn’t given myself that much time to plan it out. Vincent Volaju from Cowboy Bebop: Knockin on Heaven’s Door. http://i5.minus.com/ib17bG51k53r0i.jpg" /> I’m not the biggest fan of his character, but our facial features are pretty close down to the sharpness of our noses and long, textured hair. As a bonus, his costume isn’t impossible to pull off. The only really distinct aspect of his outfit is the Bolo Tie, which isn’t really something you see much outside of the southern states.

Day 4 – I’d say Space Dandy, but which timeline Dandy would it end up being?! I don’t want to die quite yet, and he’s got a penchant for killing the crew off. Day 5 – While I wouldn’t say I’m fully embarrassed by it, I don’t often talk about how much I appreciated the first series of
back in the day. I honestly don’t know if I’d even still like it today, I haven’t watched it since I got out of school. That’s probably the closest answer I have for today’s question.Ai Yori Aoshi- March 1, 2015 at 8:57 PM

While this would neverhappen in any storyline officially penned for any timeline of Tenchi, I think one of the more interesting choices would be Ayeka. She is fully integral to the household’s drama. While many would consider her a nagging addition, I feel that without her, the house would feel much emptier. We can also look to her character traits for why this could potentially occur . We know she’s dedicated enough to abandon her life on Jurai to find her lost fiance. She’s quite the tragic character in that her arcs usually revolve around some degree of loss, most evident in the
OVAtimeline. She also spends time trying to find her own self, and while she attempts to be the diplomat she was no doubt raised to be, there’s an immaturity and need to prove herself underlying many of her actions as she develops. Much in the same way Ryoko’s death was feigned in
Universe, I can envision Ayeka going the same distance and perhaps even further which would lead to her expiration. Her fierce loyalty would come at the cost of her own life, a decision she would make to save the man she loves. After all, surely her Universecounterpart would recall Ryoko’s near suicidal run to get the gang to Jurai? Seeing how Ayeka showed her willingness to look up to Ryoko during TMiL2, one could reason for Ayeka taking a page right out of her rival’s book. The fallout would be quite the show as well. Can you imagine the Royal Family needing to deal with the loss of their first daughter like that? And the way the internal politics would need to shift to prime Sasami as the heir to the throne now that big sister was no longer an option? We even saw some of the effects that the Masaki household would go through in Okuda’s manga during one of the final arcs wherein Ayeka was removed from the group and actively fought against them. The sense of loss would be immense, the internal politics of the Masaki clan would be changed as well as Jurai needing to do some shuffling around. It would be one of the more wide-reaching deaths the series could have. Fun to think about, but one that would never get animated.

I don’t really do pairings that aren’t alcohol and food related, so I’ll have to sit this one out~ - February 26, 2015 at 4:40 AM

Don’t know if I’ll have answers for every question, but I suppose I can give the ones I can answer a go. First anime for me, that I can recall, was the Americanized (or should we call it “Harmony Gold-ed”?) rendition of Samurai Pizza Cats.

The version we got was much more comedic than the original. Still, I got a kick out of it as a youngster and it is, as far as I can remember, the first piece of Japanese animation I ever watched.
