I think “filler” would be the wrong term, seeing how little we already know about the Academia world. Seeing as they’re starting at the beginning, it’ll be “building”, or maybe “revealing”. ;)

but is it true that two films and shorts exist?

It’s true. Two films, one about 30 minutes long, the other about 45. I have them.

I wanna know if they continue from the movies or just make a drawn out version in the tv series.

Judging from the trailer, looks like the TV series may start as a drawn-out version of the movies. But it won’t be identical to the movies’ plots.

Once Scrapped Princess was announced, it was postulated among some that this could be following sooner rather than later:

    ANN wrote:

Funimation announced on Friday that it has licensed the Wolf’s Rain and The Mystic Archives of Dantalian television anime series and will release both series in February on home video.

Funimation will release Wolf’s Rain in a complete series collection with all 26 episodes (including the 4 OVAs) on a Blu-ray Disc and DVD combo pack on February 7. The release will include Japanese and English audio with English subtitles.

BONES’ Wolf’s Rain series originally aired in 2003, and Bandai Entertainment released the series on DVD between 2004-2009. Cartoon Network premiered the series in 2004.

Funimation will release The Mystic Archives of Dantalian on DVD in a complete set with all 12 episodes on February 14. The release will not include an English dub. Funimation describes the series:

From Studio Gainax, the folks behind some mega-hit titles such as [Gurren Lagann] and Evangelion, comes another amazing title that we are excited to announce on home video! The Mystic Archives of Dantalian, originally a light novel series by Mikumo Gakuto, follows Sherlock Holmes style detective work and keeps fans in a constant atmosphere of mystery and suspense! If you’re a fan of shows like Gosick and Mushi-Shi, then this is one title you cannot miss out on!

The anime originally aired in 2011, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired, but its license expired in August 2014.

    ANN:

Viz Media announced during its Moonlight Party livestream event on Friday that it is working with Eleven Arts to screen the Sailor Moon R: The Movie (Sailor Moon R Movie: Promise of the Rose) anime film in theaters in the United States in January.

The event will also screen the “Make Up! Sailor Guardians” (Make-Up! Sailor Senshi) anime short alongside the film. The companies will screen the film and short in both an English-dubbed version and an English-subtitled version. Theatergoers will also get a bonus gift while supplies last.

Viz Media is currently streaming a trailer for the film, and is also [BBvideo=https://youtu.be/S3CPnHGwUuc]streaming a video[/BBvideo] introducing the voice of Fiore for the film, Ben Diskin.

    [BBvideo]http://youtu.be/jf8b0HafRa0[/BBvideo]

The film originally opened in Japan in 1993. Geneon Entertainment previously released the film on VHS and DVD between 1999-2004.

In the film’s story, when Mamoru was little, he gave a rose to a little boy named Fiore. Fiore promised that one day he would bring Mamoru lots of flowers. Now Fiore has come back to earth but his intentions are not merely to fulfill a promise.

The “Make Up! Sailor Guardians” anime short also premiered in 1993. In the short, Usagi and Chibi-Usa are at a cafe and overhear two girls talking about who is the best Sailor Guardian and describe the traits that make her the best.

I reckon we’ll get theater listings later.

The Seattle Mariners and the Washington Nationals (formerly Montreal Expos) are the only current Major League franchises to have never appeared in the World Series; the Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, Colorado Rockies, Texas Rangers (formerly the 1961–1971 version of the Washington Senators), Tampa Bay Rays, and Milwaukee Brewers (formerly Seattle Pilots) have played in the Series but have never won it. The Toronto Blue Jays are the only franchise from outside the United States to appear in a World Series, winning in 1992 and 1993.

That’s what happens if enough time (113 years) passes; everyone gets a chance. ;)
