The price to wait and buy it post-release was going to be a whopping 85+ bucks!

From where are you getting ripped off? RBT’s MSRP is only $40. :?

Do you have experience with the LE?

    Not personally, no.

This is where other forumites should chime in.

Good grief, that Wallyworld listing is FUBAR’ed. :( (OK, maybe not so bad… the first time I looked at it there were stars from another movie listed in it. Not that I mind Lewis Black, but I highly doubt he’s ever been in TM!)

If it isn’t LE, so you think it’s worth it to find a LE version or are the differences insignificant? The same goes for the OVA, which also seems tough to find in LE.

You’ll have to ask yourself, “do I feel lucky?” “am I more interested in getting the show (RE) or the fancy packaging (LE)?” 😉

The non-limited edition would list for $64.98 MSRP, and would come in a single case with no fancy cardboard box.

Adult Swim’s Toonami block announced on Wednesday that it will run the Evangelion: 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance film on August 31. Toonami’s staff added that the American television block will also show “a special little goodie that you’ll have to wait to find out about.”

In addition, the American series Star Wars: The Clone Wars will replace the anime Eureka 7 after it finishes its latest run on Adult Swim next month. Adult Swim is working on running the full finale of Eureka 7, as opposed to the cut version that ran during the anime’s first Adult Swim run in 2007.

    Yeah, they did.

It aired at 1 AM Friday nights (Saturday morning) in 2004.
